ok, everyone I am exhausted and off to bed!
I have 2 new schools to tour tommrrow and I think it will suck all my energy out!!!! ugghhhhh.

These minnie dot pants where the first custom Disney item I ever sewed!!! (I did some sewing before that but merely for Halloween costumes...no need to share those...hahahha) Oh and I "Disneyfied" the shirt too by ironing on some letters and Minnie!!!

Anyway, here she is meeting Minnie Mouse for the very first time!!!!

All the pics are great- dd wasn't diggin goofy when she saw the first time either!
And yes I do get to fabric paint at work- sometimes and sometimes I get to scrapbook and go to movies and sometimes like today I get to go to the bank and sit there for 2 hours then go to the POLICE station- because someone stole a box of checks out of one of my ladies mail box!!! The bank was really good and gave back the money that the bad people wrote checks for- 5 checks a total of about 150.00. Not to awful could have been worse, But I take the good with the bad!!

Someone was asking for first sewing projects - well mine aren't interesting - I've only been sewing a wee while

but a baby carrier for me (em is about 8-10ish weeks old I think)

and a matching one for izzy

and nappies/diapers

were all sewn in the same weekend with help from some friends All nice easy stuff to start on

So precious- I love the matching one for Izzy!!

ok, I was working on this set! This is a Hannah Montana skirt since my 6 year old is hannah montana obsessed! Guess she will wear customs if it;s hannah. shirt is from walmart.

For all of those that use Moda fabric -- where do you buy it? I love that valentine swirly fabric that was used and now I want to find some!

I went away for a couple of hours and when I came back I had 6 pages to read through. It's some talking and sewing people on this thread.

MsMckenna- My DH has informed me that he would not be wearing any shirts with cartoon characters on them. I offered to make him a Transformers/Decepticons T and he said no. He said it was too childish. I will be making these for my best friend's little boy and her step sons.

I finally got a few of my Photopass pictures uploaded to Photobucket.

This is the whole group. My family is on the left. I made all the customs. I wish I had insisted that our DH's at least wear black, white or red.

Here is one that shows DDs AK custom pretty well.

DS's pirate shirt. I also made DNiece and Dnephew's Mickey head shirts.

When I posted my first batch of pictures I promised someone (Cathy, I think) that I would post some of the Castle lights. It was so beautiful.

Sometimes those men folk just don't get with the program. I had dh at least coordinate most of the days. As long as he was consulted about his wardrobe he was fine. And those Castle pics are FAB U LOS!!

could you all please say some prayers or send some vibes my way if you are not a prayer. Silly request but ever since this nasty MRSA came into our lives 2 1/2 wks ago I have become a germaphobe. I know there is nothing wrong with being clean, but I used to know that germs needed a home too. Well now it seems like all I do is clean, I can't get things clean enough and it is freaking me out. I like clean, don't get me wrong but I used to be able to sit down when DH would get home and just enjoy family time, not anymore. I feel all freaked out inside if a crumb is dropped. If I dont' lysol the laundry it isn't clean. The camodes get lysol sprayed on them after every use and get thoroughly liquid lysoled at the end of the day. I just want to be able to relax but I live in fear of this MRSA. Once you have it, it never goes away, it lays dormant and rears its ugly head whenever it wants to. I just want to be normal again. please.

So sorry that this has turned you into super clean mom- We'll say a pray for family

Congrats on first place- good for the girls to get it together!!! I bet they feel great!!

Ok, here is the patterns and material I bought today for my first official sewing project in 20+ years. I'll be making the short sleeve version of both. I'm not one for no sleeves. Eventually, I will make both long sleeve versions. I love those!

I love that top pattern!!! I want one of those shirts in plus size Do they make plus size patterns?

Well, I was going to say you could send some to Minnesota... But after reading about the "whale incident" you should make some applique tees for hubby, and maybe some loungy pants if you have enough. But definitely some applique tees!! That would be cool and maybe add some Patches to your ds pants.

And now I am finally caught up again.
There was a heat wave today- It was 43!!! And it RAINED!!! well the party is over it will be -10 in the morning so all that rain will be ice and that make for some fun drivin'. Hope people will SLOW DOWN or it could be a bumpy morning!!!

It's not knotted below is how I do it it is sewn - it gives a nice flat waistband - If I'm playing with colours then I'll loop it (I can't remember if I done it with this one - I don't think I did - I'll aske her next time she's over) but if I know what I want I just sew. This has 2 pieces of each colour folded over and sewn (if that makes sense).

Ohhh very cool thanks for sharing...I think I will have to try it! Perhaps I can make a "Lori skirt" with it..hahahaha

Holy crap! I'll never be able to catch up when I get back! We just decided about an hour and a half ago we were going! I really need to packing but wanted to check in!

I bought some crystals to make a Bling Carriage top for dd7. Can I just use E6000 to apply them in the shape I want? Anyone have a good carrige picture they can send me that they used? Anyone have any tips for this project?

Your custom's are great, but the castle pics are WONDERFUL! I must've been living under a rock because I've never seen the castle with the lights on it in different colors before. How I wish I was going during Christmas. But, in case you didn't see my previous post, I AM going in 18 DAYS!

Thanks and have a wonderful trip!! I have a good friend who is going that week as well. Her DS has a soccer tournament so they really had no choice on the dates. I've been trying to help her out with some touring plans because none of them have ever been before.

They still have the package, but DSIL bought the package and the back of the picture has the code to add it to your Photopass.
