Just to update everyone, I will be leaving for my trip very early in the morning, so my mom and dad just left with my girls! I have been bawling my eyes out for the last few minutes and I can't seem to stop! I was really doing well until my 4yo old brought me this little blue heart and said " Here mommy, you can take this on your trip to remember me!" So here I sit, crying like a baby!

Oh Great!!!! I was just going to get settled into my sewing room and now there are storms everywhere! There is a TORNADO warning 1 county away!!! So i guess i will take my laptop to the basement and see what happens!

I decided to make a princess outfit for Giuliana to wear in case her princess dress gets too hot. I just cut 8 princess squares and sewed them together and onto a sparkly pink strip. It is only 72" at the bottom, but I was using a remnant of lace and only had a few inches more than that. The lace is pink, blue, and yellow 1/2" cotton.

It really doesn't hang funny--that is just the way I pinned the skirt to the top for the picture! It makes the crown seem ****-eyed, too. The shirt was $3 and the crown only $2--so the whole outfit was around $8 (I already had the pink material, elastic, and lace

Here is Katie’s Cinderella dress as requested.

I did not use the lace at the bottom. I just added the ruffle. It was pretty easy (I had my grandma ruffle it) to add it in place of the lace.

The sequin trim is in the aisle with the trims by the yard. The one I used was a clear iridescent. It was pain to sew it on, but in my opinion worth the hassle.

And this on is Jenna dancing with Prince Charming. Cinderella told him to go pick Jenna to dance. She was smiling ear to ear. I hate that the pic came out so dark. I had some major tears in my eyes when he grabbed her by the hand.

So so so cute!!!! I LOVE the picture of her with Cindy...you did an outstanding job on that dress!! It's PERFECT!!!

That is so precious. I can imagine how special that was for her. I am can understand why you got so teary eyed. You did an amazing job on that dress.

When we had dinner at 1900 in March, I got teary eyed for the little girl who danced with the prince and I did not even know her! Katie would not even look in the direction of anyone but Cinderella... let alone speak to them or heaven forbid touch one of them. She was a monster that night. It is a good thing she looked so cute.

I do love this dress!!!

I was thinking of doing the lace over a blue ruffle. I love your irridescent material- not sure mine has all the colors when the light hits it.
I did look in the by the yard section- but only saw white- single row of sequins- is that what you used-the single row? Where did you put the trim? Just on the bottom edge with the ruffle?
I have to say this is not the best pattern- since it's 4 in 1 and they combine 3 of the gowns, so it seems a bit bogged down to read thru. Maybe I should go thru and highlight all the cinderella instructions first.
Do you think the rainbow sheer will look silly??
DDs measurements are sort of about a 1...
19" chest, about 18" waist- belly is bigger than waist or chest, and she is 33" tall....
