2) She also sewed a book (scaps of fabric taped on notebook paper) of "monkey parts." These are from scraps of the drama queen monkey fabric. It is hysterical.
3) I hope you can find someone to watch your cat. I remember my parents would just leave our cats with extra food and a litter box when we went out of town, but it was only for the weekend. Yours probably needs extra care for your long trip! Good luck.
I would love to see the book!
I hope we find someone to watch Foster too! We've left other cats without anyone really watching them, just coming to feed and water them. But, Foster really really needs some human interaction, or he basically goes a bit nuts. Last year, we took him to a cat hotel, a nice little place with an outside porch for the cats and things for them to climb on. My parents picked him up when they got back from Florida and he was NOT happy! The people working there said he never got use to it, and hew there for 5 days. Not to mention it was rather pricey
I asked her nicely if she could change the black t-shirt and heeled flip flips for something more practical. I did insist on brushing her hair and ironing her jumper. She was quite the site, that was the night the pink-eye boy was hugging on her.
I love it! I've seen similar looks on Arminda, Lydia and Tessa! I try not to tell them they look silly, but I might make a suggestion for something that might work out better. Sound like you handled it very well Steph! Sounds like the outfit was a boy magnet though!
Thanks for the warm welcome!!!! So far so good on my dress for my DD. I got the skirt done with the wedge stripwork pattern I found it the links posted at the beginning of the site. Kudos to the person responsible. It has been a wealth of great info!
We can't wait to see it!!!
Thank you! These are the only other photos I have on this computer, not great, but hopefully you will get the idea

Obviously it would have been better with green tights, but we made do with the white capri leggings.
And I will just say I cannot believe how fast this thread grows! So glad I found it!
I think that is just a darling outfit!!! I really like it with the white leggins too!! And, I was going to tell you that your daughter looks like my niece Casey, but I see Heather did that allready! But, I was thinking it ever BEFORE she read it, so that means I DO rock!
I would think it was cool if someone knew Tessa's name when we were out in public. But, I'm always with her, so I wouldn't have to worry about her taking off with someone because they know her name. I don't worry about pictures on the internet nearly as much as I worry about some sicko seeing my kid at school, at a store, or outside playing. Or, the most common scenario, someone we know.
That's my thought too. I have a BIL who is adament about not letting his kid's pictures be on the internet, but they he has no problem letting the local paper take their pictures and printing their full name and where they live below the pictures!

I assure you, this is the only place anyone would tell Teresa that she "rocks".
You have YOUR opinion, and my legions of fans has another!
So, they had slept on a cold concrete floor for a week,
Are you sure they slept on the floor? If it's the kennel I think it was, they had their own bedding for the dogs to sleep on. Kenzie slept on a nice sheepskin rug type thing there. We never took our own blankets.
Your DD reminds me a lot of my niece, Casey. She's such a cutie! I love the Peter Pan outfit. I think it looks better with the capris than if you had put tights with it. I bet she got some attention wearing that costume since it's different!
I was thinking the same thing about her looking like Casey! She would so fit into our family!
SOOOO wrong!!! Well, it's almost April, SURELY we won't get snow in April, right??
Hi everyone, we've been back since Thursday, but just now getting out from under the loads and loads of laundry. Will post pics when I get them all together, but I have one question. What do I do now that we're back and have nothing to sew for? Hubby says no trip for 3 years
You sew for your children will need clothes, and what you make them will be so much cuter than anything you can buy! And, it's fun! And, if you don't sew, I won't be able to play find the Teenange Mutant Ninja Turtle anymore!
Okay, so everyone is finally better, and I have finally completed the outfit I have been working on. I LOVE the way it turned out! Hopefully later AFTER bath time I can have her try it on and get some pics to post! I used Carla's simply sweet tops the halter version and pants! I am too far behind to catch up so I am going to start from here! I hope everyone is doing better!
TERESA AND HEATHER- How is your SIL? Any updates?
PRINCESSKELL- I hope things are going well!
Just wanted to let everyone know you are still in my thoughts and prayers!
Barbara is keeping he spirits up. We all ate pizza at my Mom's house Friday, and she was quiet, but she is always quiet. She seems to be doing really well with this. She goes for an MRI next week. We pray that it hasn't spread. She still says she's going to Florida with us too! And, my brother seems to have accepted that she means it!
Something happened to my laptop yesterday! Corey defragged it, and when he went to restart it, Windows won't load. So, we are using Kubuntu (a Linux system) and I am HATING the browser that came with it! This message box keeps jumping around, and things keep getting copyed and pasted all over the place! I've been writing this reply for quite some time now!!! I've got a headache now, and feel like throwing the computer across the room!!! We need to fix Windows!
