Wow! That is really cool! I'm always afraid that if I cut a sweater, the whole thing will unravel. Did you have to do anything special so that didn't happen? I have tons of shirts that are too short for me. I'm not so much long waisted, as well, there are other things that make my shirts too short in front.

Cool idea and Megan looks so pretty! Oh, I also wanted to mention that I like how it's long on her. Tessa's shirts are always riding up and her pants are always riding down. NOT a good look!
I love the matching outfits! If you get yer hair done up all perty, make sure you post a picture of you two wearing them together!
I have tons of doll patterns & tons of Build a Bear animals & 2 girls who want new clothes for their animals. I even have a Disney princess doll pattern. If I can get all the stuff done for birthday parties in the next month or two, my girls my be getting some new outfits for the animals finally. Well, part of the birthday sewing is matching outfits for the animals, but I'm making those patterns up as I go along.
I've made a couple of matching outfits for Tessa and her Build-A-Bears. She's more into stuffed animals than dolls. So, she loves it when I sew for her bears.
I haven't figured out yet what Sawyer's really "into". Although, he gets awfully excited when he sees Barbie or Hannah Montana on tv.

How CUUUTE! I love them all, but I had too many pictures in my post!
How cute are they in their matchign outfits!? I love the picture of them with their dad.
Adorable a-line dress! I really love the fabric that Syndi picked out! I got a little teary looking at the picture of your girls. Poor Tessa will never have a sister.

Unless I can talk Henry into adopting, that is....
Cute! Love the a-line shirt and pants. I would probably sew a lot more if I had a girl. you guys make me want to have just one more. . .
When are you going to Disney in May?
My JoAnns has been so unhelpful lately. I asked about ordering flannel in turquoise... the woman cut me off and told me that if I didn't have the EXACT UPC they couldn't do anything. Boy how things have changed - when I worked there 15 years ago (well, it was Cloth World then) we had a big book of fabrics; you looked up the type of fabric, then the color and ordered from there.
This sounds like our JoAnn. I actually had a friendly employee cut the fabric for me the other day. I told Teresa about it, as it is SO rare! She knew exactly which one it was because it's the only friendly person she has seen in there, too!
Georgia looks adorable!! Crystal was so sweet to send that to her!! It's funny that it was her that sent it because I'm always mixing the two of you up!
Oh my goodness, that is SOOO funny!!! Tessa and Sawyer had/have that same walker/rider toy! I have such fond memories of Tessa sitting on it and bopping up and down to the music when she was a baby.
These turned out great! Can't wait to see you shirt, too!
Now that is just TOO cute!!! It looks like you all had fun! Josephine looks so young in her little dress! How sweet!
I LOVE it!! I keep thinking I want to make myself a purse one of these days.
In case anyone doesn't know, this is a free pattern until March 21 on YCMT!
Heather that dress is absolutely gorgeous - I thought I read somewhere you have only been sewing a year (or not quite) wowsers that is absolutely professional looking
Thank you so much!!! I've been sewing for almost 8 months. So, it really means a lot that you say that!
But I'm not sure if chenielle screams "There are Pampers in this mom-purse!"
How sweet! I have a special place in my heart for flamingos, so I love these!
I'm thinking that those pants are a great idea for some of Lydia's jeans that are too short and too worn. I really like those!
Lydia could SO rock a pair of those pants! Tell her I said so!
I loved it before, but I love it even more on!!!
You're working so much and still find time to sew!?

This came out really cute!
