While my DH and 2 DD's love our trips to Disney, none of them seem to relate to how I enjoy counting my points, reading trip reports, etc. It is very cold in Rhode Island in the winter. Past years I have devoured plant catalogues, gardening books... This year I have added vacation planning in warm climates. Is there hope?

Sorry Betslinc- I think the only cure is actually TAKING the vacation in the Winter.

But if that isn't possible, I'll post a trip report of our 2 week vacation (only 10 at WDW) the first week of February-when we return- to give you a little "fix".;)

AnnieT: That is the cure I was thinking of. We bought a small resale this December, so our first trip will be in May. From then on I plan on using my points to break up the winter. I know it's not always hot, but at least it will be something to look forward to. I'm jealous of your February break! That is perfect. Have a great time.

:p

we've spent the last two weeks in January in Orlando for the last 12 years (this will be 13 I think, although I've lost track)

Some years we've got lucky and had 80 degree weather and only on very few days have we had the weather go below 50---, but no matter how cold it gets in Florida you can always be assured, it's ALWAYS a lot colder here in New England!:p

I found the following on a Board. I don't know who to give credit to, but it is perfect for me!!!!! I bet you might just like it as well.

Disneyitis (Dis ney i' tis) n 1. condition related to the uncontrollable desire to return to the World. Subjects with this condition are known to frequent notefiles, web pages, and newsgroups. Only known relief is a trip to Walt Disney World. There is no permanent cure....and no cure is being researched as those afflicted don't WANT one! Has also been known to infect Disneylanders. People who suffer from Disneyitis have also been known to spend an unusual amount of time at their local Disney Stores to temporarily relieve some of the symptoms associated with the disease. They will also tape, watch, re-watch, and re-re watch Disney videos, specials, parades, vacation planners, etc. Also will subscribe to Disney Magazine, and will read every brochure on Disney they can get their hands on. They will sport hats, coats, jackets, pants, and carry bags with Disney logos. Can't go more than one full year without going to the world without becoming suicidal, or worse, Homicidal! And no matter how many vacation days they take, they always seem to get ticked off at everything one or even two days before they have to leave the world and go back to the rat race.

     I've got disneyitis BAD!

Watch out, cuz in 11 days I'm going on a BINGE!!!!!!!

I just hope they don't find me lying in a gutter on Main Street almost catatonic with my Mickey ears hanging off of my head, and humming "It's a small world after all!"
