DISboards - Ads

Hello all. I'm fairly new to the boards and am loving all the great info here!

I was in a fairly heated thread about scooters and ECVs in the parks in another section of the boards. I read down to the bottom and saw the following ads:

I just found that really funny.

You just have to love google's ad placing logic. Anyone else find any funny ads, or ads in funny places?

It is actually meant to be that way. The ads on the top and bottom are meant to be realted to whatever is being talked about in the thread. It searches for "key" words in the thread and uses them to decide what ad will go up.

Right.... it was funny because the OP of the thread was complaining about people in scooter. (I guess I should have made that more clear)

I doubt the OP appreciated the ads for scooters on their thread.

I use Firefox as my browser and have an add-on called Ad Blocker 0.6.5 installed. This blocks all the Google ads, both on the top and bottom of the page, so I don't see them.
