Disaster Movies

I can't believe no one has mentioned Gigli:jester: Talk about disaster;)

I vaguely remember a few movies from when I was young....ants that attacked people, lions that were attacking, even giant rodents...........do ANY of these sound familiar to anyone? Were they all in one movie? Maybe I dreamt them?:D

nkjzmom,
The movie you are speaking of is one I saw at the Drive-In. Made an impact on me called, "Food of the Gods"...;)
It also included giant mealworms & roosters.

I forgot about Food of the Gods! It was sooo bad it was hysterical! There was another bad one called either "Alive!" or "Survive" about the athletes who crashed in the mountains and resorted to chowing down on the dead bodies. How could I have forgotten those!

No, no, no! The best (worst?) cheezy film is "Attack of the Killer Tomatos". I've never seen it, but I know those who have, they say it's the cheeziest!

It was called "Alive". That bothered me a lot because its a TRUE story!

How about the one about the meteor crashing to Earth with Morgan Freeman as the President? What the heck was it called??? It had a cool tidal wave sequence at the end!

I am a HUGE fan of cheesy animal movies, like Spider, Komodo, Deep Blue Sea and other giant man eating animal flicks...

Also enjoy Twister, Dante's Peak, The Poisidon Adventure, Volcano, and any other "nature attacks" movie...

I remeber first watching Poisidon Adventure when I was about 11-12......I loved it from the moment I first saw it.....

Pirrahana was good! The sound of the fish eating the people was great!

I also liked "Rollercoaster"!

I love Poseidon Adventure. I watch it everytime it's on.
DH loves Twister.

Actually there was another movie in the 70's that was called Survive. Same premise as Alive was. Eating the dead in a plane crash to survive on a snowy mountain. I saw this movie in a drive in as a young kid and it freaked me out. I was only 7 or 8. Now mind you, I was not allowed to see the movie Grease, but my dad took me to see this LOL.
