I usually stay at HRH and love it, but rpr was so much less expensive I tried it this trip.
Arrived today at 10:30 am, check in was quick, but when I tried to charge lunch a few hours later, my card was declined as the rep checking me in did not ask me, or click the box, to allow charging. But I went to the in park customer relations kiosk and the young man named Connor helped me out.
I have visited USF and IOA during Xmas week, so I thought I knew crowded. Today, the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, was jammed! Express pass wait times were 25-30 min! I honestly feel that the crowds and waits were worse than Xmas week. Also tons of school groups. I believe they may be over selling express passes- when the express line is longer than the regular you have to wonder.
I know there are those who absolutely love rpr, but I'm not one of them.

These are obviously my personal opinions:

Room service food- no where near as good as HRH
Rooms- smaller, and much "cheaper" feeling- looks and feels like holiday inn, not a 4 star hotel- esp bathroom- HRH is so much nicer
Layout- rpr too spread out- too confusing and difficult to get around; HRH smaller and easier to navigate

I'm still enjoying myself, but missing HRH deeply

Totally agree with you, sz9144. Our last stay at RPR went downhill after we realized the doors and walls might as well not have existed when a loud group was nearby. Never had a bad experience at HRH and love the overall vibe so much better. Hopefully things at CBBR will be just as nice in 2014! :)
