Disappointed with MS

We received our new book for our DVC and the center pages are offset and cut in half. No cards, no temporary cards.

I called MS and they seemed as if me wanting a new book that is put together correctly was out of the question. She asked why I can't use the one sent? Because half the pages are cut off.

Is this what we are to expect? Is this normal? I thought the hard part was buying in, but it is only the beginning. I can't get the very basic information sent to us.

Am I expecting too much?

Are you talking about the 2007-2008 planner?

Now I bought direct from DVC and my temp cards came in the folder with all the paperwork that needed to be signed and sent back.

MS has been very helpful to us, especially when we couldn't get the pin to work(already had a password from ABC when I signed up to vote for Dancing with the Stars) that was the first thing she asked!
 
I have been a dvc member since 1994 and have always had great service...making reservations, ADR's, answering questions(e.g. I requested more tracking sheets in the past and had no problem with the cm)...If you feel that you had poor service, I would call MS and ask for a supervisor to report this or write a letter of complaint(sorry, I don't have an address for you, but someone else on the boards might). Some people have had issues with MS, but I have not and those complaints seem to be infrequent (that I have seen).

Call back and hopefully you will get a different CM who will be able to help you get a correctly printed book.

Re: membership cards, in my case I received them 22 days after Disney put my contract info into their system, 31 days after I closed. If I recall correctly, you closed just one month ago so I expect your cards will arrive some time next week.
 
I've had good and bad MS agents. It frosts me anytime I get a bad MS agent because they work for US. Without US there is no MS and thus they are out of a job.

Most are pretty good. If you get a bad one ask to speak to the manager. If that doesn't work call back.

I wish it didn't work this way but it does.
 
I always listen for (and write down) the name of the CM that answers my call to MS. If they don't give it as part of the answer, I ask them for it and then pause as though writing it down. I make a point of using the name as we talk. Always get good service this way. :)

I don't think so. If it's add-on then your membership number doesn't change so there really isn't any reason to send out new cards. If you purchased a new master contract then you would get new cards because you would have a new membership number to go with the new master contract.
 
I've always had very polite ms people. What surprises me at times is that I find myself knowing more than they do and then they have to get up to speed with me via checking with a supervisor. I figure they are a new employee and we all have been new at sometime in our repective jobs, it does make the process longer though.:cheer2:
 
I think there is another issue here. I don't think MS is the appropriate place to call for this problem and, right or wrong, the CM may have been frustrated by people calling MS for questions that MS is neither intended nor capable of handling. This is a problem that I would have taken up with my guide or Member Administration rather than MS. Not being hard on the OP by any means, just pointing out that different questions are often supposed to go to different places.
 
I agree with Doctor P. THe first person you should call about that kind of issue is your guide.
