Disappointed with early November options.

My window opened for our 3 night stay portion of our November trip (11/3-11/6) and I'm just shocked at the lack of availability in the Epcot resort/Boardwalk area. I think someone in a previous thread I had mentioned that there's a marathon going on that weekend and I'm thinking its that -- but I mean I logged in at 6:00 a.m. on my 180 day out and couldn't even get a Beaches & Cream, Sci-Fi dinner, and breakfast @ Trattoria only had really early morning or late morning ressies only.

I'm just hoping when the balance of our trip dining window opens (11/6-11/11) there's better pickings in the MK resort area.

Keep trying. I had difficulty getting a good time for the Trattoria breakfast at my 180 day mark (we are doing a 5 night stay in August), but I kept checking daily and a good time finally popped up. You can also sign up for the Touring Plans reservation finder which may be helpful.

Thank you - I already added my requests to TP, which because its still so far out doesn't start until I think tomorrow or day after. Just didn't expect to see so little those 3 nights.

It is a busy weekend, but some people hoard reservations and as the trip gets closer make more definitive plans and let some go. Just keep checking back for cancellations. Good luck!

We did Our adrs 2 days ago and could find most of what we wanted.
Haven’t found a BOG dinner or CRT at a decent time but will keep trying.
I went to switch things around a little and noticed there is low availability now of most of the popular places.

People do change their minds and things will change so times will open up.
I have a BOG lunch and Ohana dinner that I will drop if I get BOG dinner or CRT at a good time.

Those three meals are difficult to get any time of the year. Seating is very limited at B&C. The Trattoria and Sci Fi are just very popular.

In addition to checking on your own and Touring Plans, you can subscribe to the November 2018 cancellation thread on the Reservations sub-forum of the Restaurants Board here.

I've had a terrible time trying to change my SciFi lunch to dinner and we are going during a "slow" time. Ha right!

My booking window opens tomorrow, I'm going to WDW a few days before a Disney cruise. I hope I'm going to be able to get an ADR for California Grill on my birthday!

We are also doing a split. 11/2-11/4 and 11/4-11/11. My window opened yesterday and BOG lunch was extremely scarce and nothing for dinner at all. Another person on the November thread said there is nothing the entire week which leads me to believe they just haven't opened up dinner yet for November? I know it's a popular restaurant but to be completely booked at dinner for 9 days?? I had no problem getting our dessert party, HDDR and VN. All I want tomorrow when my new window opens is BOG lunch on 11/5 but I'm hearing it's already very limited. That's all we want for our 9 nights.

I also remember from previous trips that B&C and Sci Fi are always pretty hard to get.

I bet they haven't opened up MK dinners yet, because of MVMCP.

Which is making BOG lunch go much quicker.

This happened during my August 2015 trip. We wanted BOG dinner and they weren't opened yet. BOG lunch was gone too. Once they opened up dinner the flood gates of BOG lunches opened right up. There were so many options. I'm assuming people canceling their back up lunch ADRs for dinner ADRs.

oh I know its not a slow time, but 6:00 a.m. I'm used to getting pretty much whatever I wanted ADR wise. As for BOG, I'm thankful for their increase to a 2 point dining experience because we don't find it'll be worth it at that, and its not on our to do list :)

That seems so bizarre! Thanks for the replies!

I'm really nervous about getting our "holiday dining" for MVMCP (trying for the dessert party & CRT). Did I read that those ADRs were available sometime in June last year?

I was able to get a dinner reservation at BOG on a MVMCP night, so I know some dinners are certainly available.
It was an early dinner, however. (Which works out fine for us since we won't miss any of the party.)
I didn't check if there were any later ones, admittedly, since early was ideal for us.
