Interested in feedback. I am using DU for the first time for ressies. I have usually taken care of these things myself. I have been emailing for two days re: an additional room they were supposed to be checking on and no one has responded. Is this the normal level of service? I am very frustrated! Any similar experiences?
 
This is my third time using Dreams Unlimited. They seem to repsond to me within hours each time I have a question. I was surprised to get a response even pretty late in the evening. I've been very impressed all three times.
 
Our DU agent has gotten back to us with in one day (max) for any request or question that we have asked.
She is on vacation right now.... (Disney Cruise!) But she made sure to let us know, so that if we had any questions we would know not to hear back from her right away.
I hope you get everything straitened out!:D
 

I have not used DU myself (I'm too much of a control freak not to do my own booking :) ), but I've heard uniformly glowing reports about their service. So much so that I'm inclined to think maybe it's just an email snafu?
 
I used them last year just to book 5 nights at the Sheraton Safari and was impressed by 1. the rate, 2. they answered all questions and 3. then they wanted to know if I needed them to book priority seating for dinner... all that for only a hotel reservation.
Will use them again this year.
 
I used them to book my 3 day cruise and they are great, even responded a Sunday night when I had a question, I would highly recommend them. I am also a control freak and always book my own vacation, but have been very impressed with them
 
Were you able to get this fixed? I've also had great experiences with Dreams, but all companies do have problems at times. I hope it was worked out to your satisfaction!

I've used Dreams three times now, and it has been wonderful each and every time. I hope Regina is enjoying her cruise. :teeth:
 
I originally made my DCL ressie with Disney directly. After reading these boards I decided to try DU. They transfered my ressie and gave me a $100 rebate. I then requested them to book disney resort ressies, obtain tickets to Cirque and book PS ressies for me. They did all this effortlessly! I will never book another Disney vacation with anyone else!
 
Dreams is really a great, convenient company. I have found that on weekends it sometimes takes a few days for a response. I would just send another email and you should hear back within a day or so.
 
DU did respond. The reason given for not responding earlier was that my agent does dot generally respond to 're:' or replys because of viruses?? We are working together on getting the confirmation info that I need for the additional room. Thanks for your responses!

By the way Gillian, was the caffiene comment really necessary?
 
HAH, I am so sorry! That caffeine comment was not directed at you at all!! I've been responding on a Community board thread about caffeine & coffee drinking while pregnant! It must have been on the clipboard & gotten pasted in by mistake. I'll edit it out.

The other thread is here, coffee while pregnant thread and I was saying to the OP that decaffinated coffee is good, too!
 
I have been using OLP (Our Laughing Place) Travel for help with my vacations. I just planned my first trip to Disneyland and they were wonderful. I didn't have to do any work at all! My dates even changed and I felt terrible about making my "agent" do all that work again. It was no problem at all! She (DancingDisney) was very happy to help me and I was setup for the new dates within minutes! She got me a great package that was within my budget. She also helped me with guided tour information. I highly recomend these guys!!!

Happy to know that you got responses from your DU agent. I know how you feel because I also freeked out when my agent didn't respond my email at first. That time was during the whole mess caused by the CBR closure last year. But it worked out great and I am looking forward to using DU again for my next WDW visit.
 
You'll receive a response within a few hours since you posted on the board. It's like a miracle (also known as your post was forwarded to someone at Dreams, lol).

I think the response time depends on your agent at DU. I've worked with 2 agents who were very speedy, within minutes I would have an answer sometimes.

Another agent was very slow. An entire day would pass before I would get an answer.

I think it depends on how often each agent checks his/her email.
 
I love DU!! Tammy is awesome!! I am glad things worked out for you HAH... it really is a great service they offer!!
 
I have used DU twice, and Jason is "The Man". He reponds to my emails like lightening, and we even talked on the phone today.

And they can find the rates that no one else has, I don't know how they do it, but they do it all, and they do it the best!
 
My guess is that it may depend on your actual DU agent assigned. I was lucky to have Carole Ann Filla assigned to me on my first DU resy and have used her exclusivley. I think that she and DU are #1!!!!!
 
I booked the dolphin thru DU for March. I made the ressies in Sept. Well something happened during the transmit, I think I left the room for a second and my 5yr old computer wiz decided to make some ressies for himself and the request went thru 4 times. DU rep(can;t remember his name--sorry) called me at home to check on this, he said he thought this was a little odd. Thank goodness he called instead of just sending the request thru---my credit card would have exploded!!!!The rep cancelled the other 3 request and sent my 1 request in and I got a confirmation # the same hour and also the cancellation #s the same hour for the other 3. Of course the detail freak I am, I called the dolphin directly twice, to check on my ressies. All set! Can't wait til March 1.
