Disappointed kid with the new premium magic bands

So I ordered both my girls premium magic bands for the upgrade price of $10 each. Our box came today so I told my youngest to open it, all excited for her to see it. Hers was GRAY!!!! Her sister's was the premium one. What!!!! I have been on hold with my disney experience for half an hour so far waiting to see what happened. If they ran out, at least contact me to pick another or have her pick a solid color. She is so sad!

Same thing happened to me. Ordered custom bands for all members of the party and my sister's villans band was just a purple band when it was delivered. I wasn't charged for the band when checking back at my bank account but it did suck. I didn't contact Disney as she wasn't worried and I was able to get it on our second reservation with our split stay.

Unfortunately there's been many reports of similar issues. Hopefully they can fix it for you!

Be persistent on the phone. Ask for supervisors etc. They told us we’d receive an equivalent gift card upon check in to purchase the bands there which they did follow through. Good luck!
