I was at kidani village and it did not ask for my room number or anything. Just gave me a terms of service that i had to agree to every couple of hours.
I was told wired would be left, who knows anymore.![]()
Been here since Saturday and the wireless has been terrible. Just plugged into the old wired port and it works fine. Sorry I didn't bring the router I usually do to set up my own wireless.![]()

I am uploading photos to Photobucket tonight at BWV and the speed is 8 or 9 KB/s. How pathetic.
8 or 9 Kbps?? Really, K??? That's worse than dial-up. I can get around 150-300Kbps with my cell phone over 3G.
BWV seems to be having some issues. It's the most often complained about resort that I've seen regarding wireless.
Just returned from a week stay at OKW (building 49) and no issues with the wireless speed or signing on with both an iPad and Dell laptop for the entire stay. The wife was also using her Kindle Fire. Also never had to register anything to use it, just every few hours I had to click to agree to the terms.
Turns out Comcast hosed my home business connection, so I'm using the MiFi from home tonight as well!I'll be bringing my 4G MiFi in case I have to do "real work".
I'm at OKW now and the connection is so slow I can barely post. I used the Wifi in October when it first started at BWV and it was great so I didn't pack my router....wrong.....I wanted to post last night but after watching the green waiting line trying to get into the disboards I gave up. It's like having dialup again. I move over to BWV on Monday so I hope it gets better. I feel like I have my aol dial up again.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but BWV seems to be having the most problems with wi-fi. If you encounter problems call tech support right away. They will try to help, though it didn't seem to do much good for me. And we had an access point in our room.
We moved to the BWV on Monday and the WiFi service here is great. Much better than the service we were getting at OKW. I have not had any problems at all and much faster.
