The Magic Band t-shirt personally tells me how much intelligence Disney thinks their customers have. What a joke, a t-shirt promoting a GPS tracking device on your arm that monitors your every move. I find the whole thing offensive and its a breach of the United States Constitution.

You have no idea by looking at someone if they are going into debt to go on vacation. I know the stats, but that still doesn't make it right to judge others - especially when you actually have no idea what their financial state is.

Maybe your an exception to the rule, but the odds are on my side. Simple as that. The money that family's earn these days does not go as far as it use to due to the government inflating our money supply. The thing is that the middle class wants to keep their middle class lifestyle and the only way to do this is to go into debt. That is why income to debt ratios are super high.

Believe me, I understand the concern, I have it too, but that act in itself doesn't violate the Constitution. And I agree about big business running things. Look at the movie Dallas Buyer's Club and how the pharmacudical (sp?) industry owns the FDA.

You missed the point. I already acknowledged the stats being what they are.

And how exactly is Disney doing this?

There is no GPS device in the Magic Bands.

Disney doesnt hold any one down and strap magic bands to them.

Disney doesnt force anyone to visit them.

I think you should find a lawyer who would take on this case and sue Disney. Let me know how that works out for you.

There may not be a GPS that links to a satellite in the bands, but there is a long range sensor in them where they can basically track you anywhere in the park, sort of like how cell phones have wifi assisted gps.

And yes in a way Disney does strap you down and put on the magicband. You're not really given the option of a card unless you know about it and insist on it, and then they reluctantly give it to you, warning that you won't be able to do as much with the card.

Now having said all this, yes it's probably constitutional since it's on private property, and Disney's fine print probably waives your rights, but still.

Yes you are correct about Big Corp (Crony Capitalists) running things. The thing is we need to take away the power that the government has and give it back to the people so that Crony Capitalism Corporations can no longer buy government influence to help create Monopoly's for themselves.

Look at Disney for example. Some Entrepreneurs wanted to bring some big Las Vegas style casinos to Orlando. Due to the political influence that Disney has in Florida and in Washington, they got government bureaucrats to put a kabosh on the whole project. Now if government did not have that power to do that (true free market) the project would be built thus creating more jobs in Orlando and creating more competition to Disney. Now if your working at Disney and only making $7 bucks an hour, you look down the road and see this new casino is offering $9 bucks an hour you tell Disney your going to jump ship. Now how does Disney prevent their employees from jumping ship? They have to match that $9 dollars an hour or pay even more. That is how free markets work, when there is an abundance of jobs, the employers compete for employees services thus increasing wages.

I haven't read it in awhile, but feel pretty comfortable saying that I'm 100% positive the Founding Fathers don't even mention Disney once in that amazing document. I'm also 100% confident that all of them would have a very confused look on their faces after reading your comment (well, after they got over the shock of electricity, computers, Justin Beiber, etc,).

Since we all have no choice but to interact with the Federal Gov't. (hence, individual protection under The Constitution), while our interaction with Disney is a personal choice; I would expect Edmund Randolph would say "just don't go if you have that much of an issue - we also recognize businesses have the right to commerce and you have the right not to commerce" and then he would go back to trying to figure out how to work a TV remote since he's never seen one before - being a Founding Father, and all.......
