I have to catch up with the thread i was busy all weekend.

I just got done doing the Cardio Max workout from The biggest loser!! i love Bob!! and that workout was no joke!
 
Well, I haven't been 153 since I got back from Disney, and that was because I walked 60 miles that week. ;) I've stayed at 155-157 the longest. I guess I need to sneak :tiptoe: back into WW, and ask my leader her opinion. When I became I lifetime member (10 years ago) I got down to 133, so that is why I feel like a failure. Why can't I do that again? :confused3 Although my DR said 140 would be as low as she would recommend.



Maybe it is, and I just need to listen. That's why I need to talk to my leader, and ask her opinion. It's just that basketball/softball practice has gotten in the way of my meetings. Maybe I could go really early tonight, and just weigh and talk to her and then run to softball? don't ya' love the way I talk to myself here? :rotfl2:

Hee hee... yes, I do love the way you talk to yourself!!

155 is a pretty good weight for 5'8", especially if you are so athletic (muscle weights more than fat!). And I agree w/ your dr, below 140 is too low.

Utah Mama and I spoke last night and again today and thought we would have a fun challenge to get us all motivated and show solidarity in the form of a competition between the 2 best threads on Wishes!!!:cool1:

I started my thread in late December 2007 as a journal for myself...and it has caught on as well...not as big as yours...but we are a proud little group and we mean business like no one else in support and admiration of all of those who choose a better life for themselves.

Soo...Utah Mama recognized my name...from earlier postings on Wishes...and reached out in loving spirit to do...
a battle of the bulge...
a fat-off...
a blubber beating...
a chubby chastising..
a rolly polly palooza
a lard lashing...
a butterball bashing..

Simply...a great way to help all of us see 2009 looking mighty fine!

Utah Mama and I came up with this...

#1
Since your group out-numbers ours by a landslide...we will do the top 5 weight losers from both teams each week will get credit for the weigh in totals.
#2 Some have more to lose..some less so we will go by percentage lost versus pounds to make it fair.
#3 At the end of the month...we would like to reward the winning team participants something small but meaningful. That would be for the whole team that won...not just those who made the top 5 because we will all have better weeks than others and we all deserve to be a part of the accomplishment because our individual motivation leads to our teams success.

An idea I had would be magnets from the state you are from...we would divide it so not one person is ever sending more than 3 magnets at a time so the expense should be minimal...just a quick note of congratulations and an envelope and you are done....but how cool would it be to see your fridge full of trophys everytime you go to eat!???:thumbsup2

Anyway...let me know what you think...I was trying to come up with an idea that would motivate and not cost a bunch and yet connect us all in this battle to a healthier us.

So if you are in...here is what I need...
I will take responsibility for keeping track of addresses and weights starting...
I need you to p.m. me your weight as of last Fridays weigh in...plus your address for the prizes we will be handing out at the end of March.
Please let me know which team you are representing...

Then on this Friday...and every Friday here on out...we need you to send me your current weight plus weight loss..and I will send the numbers consolidated to our accountant of numbers and crunchers...

Who will post the top 5 from each team...plus percentage lost for those 5 by Saturday night. This ensures that numbers are all in and he has some time to insure accuracy...


Yes...the accountant will be a "he" who also is in need of weight loss and is willing to work cheap...

and take the blame for screwing up...
and is understanding that if he fails the mission...a butload of women/men who are not the smallest will hunt him down and hurt him like a rabid dog. :rotfl2:

He will remain annonomous for now until he can procure a bullet proof vest to ward off any death threats or failed bribary attempts...in fact maybe a giant mouth lock is better (remember Silence of the Lambs?)...I know some evil people who may send cakes, McD fries, french rolls his direction...:rolleyes1

So...who is in...we all can benefit from a fun competition...I think that we have the ability to size up our opponents...

I do agree we should get Hockey Kat and DWD and any others who are on both...since we are smaller and need all the first round draft pics we can get!!!:lmao: :cheer2:

I'm sitting here eating my ONE (usually it's 2!) packet of Weight-Off Oatmeal with extry-fiber and a biggie cup of WATER. I got half a mind to get on that tread mill (after I dust it)...

Hockey Kat, sweetie, you need some cake and burgers with mayo. JUST KIDDING! I don't have a solution to sharing our in-common peepies :confused3

Okay Dawn, I'm sending you my actual weight. Don't be scared at the number!!!!! This was my weight as of last friday.

glad you're feeling better! speaking of pale, i've gotta get to the tanning bed before i go to disney. i by no means go often enough to look orange or "leathery" but i do like a little bit of color and right now i'm glowin!

I totally hear ya..i like a SLIGHT glow to my skin..i never get "Magda from something about Mary" leatherish...but i have seen many who have..YIKES! :scared1:

The fact that it was 10 years ago makes a diffrence! I definitely can't lose the way i did 10 years ago! :sad2: If only! So...don' beat yourself up, just listen to what your body is telling you.

Allie, the problem must be with being 5'8". Kat says she is experiencing it, I'm experiencing it. Maybe we should just lop a few inches off our height and that will also take care of those last few pounds at the same time. I'm so desperate that I'll try anything.

I want to join,I think, but I go to WDW in 12 days and I'll miss a Friday weigh in. WHat should I do about that, weigh myself the next week and we just average the GAIN ( He I'll be visiting the mouse!) over the 2 weeks? Should I just wait and start after I get back? DOing this would be good as we're doing percentages, I could gain lots in WDW and then when I lose my percentages will be high!:cool1: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
