Happy Saturday to everyone. I have the WHOLE day to myself, alone. Dh is working from 9-9 today. I plan to clean out Amandas toy room and re-arrange so it she wont notice the toys that are mysteriously missing when she returns. To reward myself for that because it could likely take most the day(without using food!) I will be getting a pedicure. I do it like 3 times a yr, so this is a big treat! I may have to run to Ikea, you know to get things to help me organize the toy room. But no shopping until the hard part is done. Or I will not do it at all.

Happy to report the mysterious gain I saw yesterday has vanished and I am back down to where I was Thursday, so I can stick with the loss I posted. Figures my scale would act up on weigh in day! I am very close to losing the 'one' in my number too, and I cant wait. I will be running naked through the steets when that happens, let me tell you!

I want to say.... how humbled I am from my friends here on the peeps board.
You all are are so wonderful to me. I am truly blessed. First, call was from my soon to be ex-husband. Very emotional for me... but, at least that call is over.. and it was pleasant.. He was very nice..

Second call was my dad. whom I love.. but never remembers my birthday.. took 40 years and he called..

Now my mom.. and I called Wendy.. so.. busy busy.


I love all of you very much.

I'm so glad you're having a good day! Ok I'm not a slacker...just an IDIOT! I sent you a card, but forgot the price of stamps went up. Hi, Peeps - just checking in briefly until tomorrow. My DD has been home this week, so I've had a busier than usual week. Finally got caught up here last night.

I have been WAY off the wagon, so I gained again this week I will get back on track tomorrow.

I thought I'd be out and about with DD today, but she took the puppy over so her Grandpa could see it. We're going out to dinner tonight and to see Shrek 3 to celebrate Fathers Day early while DD's still here though.

i'm off to nap. i didn't get ANY sleep last night. i got woken up by DH for reasons i won't mention..... .......and then i had to get up at 5:00 this morning to be in morrow (south of atlanta) at 7:00 to help proctor the court reporter certification exam today. fun! i'm gonna go snooze for a couple of hours....later, taters!

It is beautiful here today. My DH and I got all of our shopping done early. We even went to a library book sale where I picked up a 2004 Birnbaum's Disney guide for 10 cents! I know it isn't the latest edition but I love the pictures in those guides and I could not pass it up! I also got some Disney scrap booking stuff at Michael's. I think I have everything I need now to make a nice book. This will be my first attempt at a scrapbook so I hope it will turn out nice. I found Oreo 100 cal granola bars at Walmart and I will report on those after I have one. All in all a very productive trip!

Ok, it was Prom - DS gf is popular - she calls them her merry band of nerds - of color -

she claims she the shortest, and ds is the tallest...

oh, and we know that ds is not the tallest - she just teases!!) They spent 45 min trying to get everyone here, and about 30 min trying to get them to be in the same picture, one dad is a professional photographer - he was going crazy!!

I'm back!!!!!! survived the day at Conner Prairie (the 1800's re-enactment settlement.) It was Civil War days and there were soldiers and skirmishes everywhere. We've been there for private events and know several of the employees and we saw several of them today. It was nice, the weather wasn't too warm but it was sunny and I got a bit of color.

Sandy~ What a great looking bunch of kids, esp the one you claim. They all look so good dressed up in formals.

Dance~ (Is it Jennifer? I have a hard time remembering.) I hope you had a productive cleaning day. I have some I need to do and I'm dragging my feet gettng it done. I have to go visit my family at the end of June and we have a pet sitter coming in so it has to be done by then.

I can't beleive I forgot to post an update on DH's surgery earlier. The neurosugreon looked at everything this week and the surgery has been moved up by a week. If they could've gtten him in sooner, they would have! Wed the 23rd is the day. I'm off work for most of the week so I can be here during all of it. My MIL and DH's grandma both would like to be here but it sounds like neither of them can make the trip. As much as I love them, I'm glad they won't be here making me nervous.

What kind of surgery is your dh haveing? I hope it's not too serious.
I love historical things and would love to go to a civil war re-enactment. But I don't think they do them this far west!

DH is having a microdiscectomy, he has a herniated disc and they are going to go trim all the bulging disc from his vertebrae. He also has degenerative disc disease where the discs in his back are slowly compressing and shrinking so he may have to have more surgery in the future.

As far as re-enactments; look on-line. There are a lot of historians and re-enactment groups out there. We like the medieval/reniasance period more and I know they have groups all over the country.
