Punkie!!!! A half hour around WS is hoofin' it!!!

I *ACHE* from head to toe with all the walking...still gained 4 pounds. But I truly am retaining water. I'm heavy and achey and swollen. Too many salty snacks and soda pop. My feet are just tired and in pain...but worth it!
Can't wait till you post your update!!! :yay: Make it snappy ;) sister!

JERIBER! are you out there? I got my Mother's ring during a fireworks show!!! It's EXACTLY like yours except for the stones! I just love it!!!

Sorry I'm a day late. I stayed the same.

me too!!! Actually I kind of fluctuate but am staying in the same general area. I refuse to claim a loss until it feels like it's for good! I have been "crunching more" and "walking extra" so I'm thinking it won't be long 'til I get to claim a few more pounds - of course, then I'm going to Disney, but I'm hoping (that like Punkin') we'll be walking enough to keep it off! When we went in Sept I didn't gain any. My mom wore a pedometer one day and we walked over 10 miles!!!!!

Did I tell you I saw Disneyland Mama and we ate ate that Cafe Orleans? I ordered (and shared with DH) a deep fried Monte Cristo sandwich. The cheese one. Oh Lordy! I ate 1/4 th of it. And. It. Was. THE. Best. Thing. EVER!!!!!

It was worth the 4 pound gain! NOW, to lose said 4 pounds!!!!
Details on Monte Cristo, please. I always think it sounds so good, but I'm a very picky eater. What exactly is in it?!

Welcome back to the trippers? Is everyone back? Who leaves next?!

i just looked at the details on my pictures to see if this was right. we were in canada at 2:25 pm and in mexico at 3:25 pm - so exactly an hour! but it took about half an hour to make it to france because we started out slow, then we decided we weren't really having a whole lot of fun at epcot (translated: DH wasn't having a whole lot of fun at epcot!), so we decided to go to MK instead. so from france to mexico, it was a half hour. but we still booked it!!! and my back paid for it later!

My Ray also hates Epcot. Granted it was pouring last time we went but he is not looking fwd. to it. I think we will spend more time away from WS..that's what killed him the most.

My husband hates Epcot too! (I see a trend.)

When we went last Sept. he told me and DDs to go on and he and DS would spend the day at the pool. So we did....and we had a blast! Plenty of shopping and snacking....now that's what I'm talkin' about. The girls and I  the World Showcase.

Anyway we met up with the boys for dinner and everyone was happy. I highly recommend it! (I'm counting on doing this again in Sept. BTW.) ;)

Very nice idea!! He's stuck with me until we have kids though! :rotfl: He liked the few rides in WS so I think he will manage. I am not a big fan of the movies they play at some of the countries anyway so I guess I can compromise on WS. He isn't getting out of the rest of Epcot like he did last year! ;)

I am having a bad food attack today. I haven't done that bad yet..just had a c.nugget happy meal from McDonald's which is nothing out of the ordinary for the weekend. But I'm craving junk food!!! Don't worry Peeps..I won't cave. There isn't anything to eat here anyway!! ;)

PROM NIGHT 2007!!!!

My little baby boy (Jordan, turning 18 next week) just left to go pick up his girlfriend for PROM! You should see him in his rental tux and new haircut!!!! :cool2:

They're on their way back here for the corsage/ picture ceremony. I'm a wreck!
I'm not sure why, though. It's such a pivotal milestone, prom.

I'm giggling to myself that their idea of a fancy-shmancy dinner is Red Lobster. Where my gourmand son will order fried shrimp and french fries and a Sprite. She has her heart set on crab. I told her to protect her dress with plastic bibbing.

He debated putting the top up on his Barney-purple convertible LeBaron. I told him her hair would muss. OY! I hope he remembers to put his napkin on his lap and hold the chair out for her.

Yes, I yam a wreck. Nearly 18 years of training to be tested tonight! :flower3:

UGH!!!!!

UGH!!!!!

You've got to post pictures of them! A little over 2 years and my oldest will be dating................so scary!

Ok..food for today. Not too good. That means I will have to eat next to nothing at picnic tomorrow (I allow myself one crappy day a week)
B-PB Captain Crunch, skim milk, light OJ, 2 pieces toast
L-Mcdonalds chicken nuggets, diet coke, sm. fries
S-fruit salad, 2 Chips Ahoy cookies
D-shrimp scampi (only 1/3 of portion..too rich for me), salad, bread, diet coke

I wanted to take DH out for being so awesome..there wasn't many safe meals on the menu. Oh well.

I must see a picture woman!!! What a romantic hubby you have (during fireworks). Way to go Goofy4UM:yay:

Hi Peeps!

I just wanted to wish all of the Mother Peeps a very Happy Mother's Day! I hope you all have a stupendous day! :flower3:

I don't want to toot my horn, but toot toot! I have finally finished the slideshow for my mom and I think I may make her cry! :woohoo: Good tears of course. But seriously, I think it turned out really cute. I could have added more pictures, but I already had 106 and thought I should stop  I ended up needing 4 songs to cover the time so I did, in order:

What a Wonderful World
You've got a friend in me (toy story)
Gilmore Girls theme, Where you Lead
We are Family

I cannot wait for her to see it. Happy Mother's Day again! :cutie:

P.S. Welcome home to all the Peeps that were out of town!

I thought I was ok this year (this will be the 4th MD without my mom) but I don't think I am. I hide things so well on the outside that even DH doesn't know. I don't know if I am going to head to the in-laws tomorrow. I just don't think I am ready. Is that selfish of me? Is it time to just pull myself up and go? Ugh. What really hurts the most is that neither of my best friends asked how I am doing. It's probably my fault for not reaching out. It just makes me feel alone and I just hate feeling that way. :sad1:

Well, I think I am gonna have to post another hair picture! I got my highlights today, and WOAH! I am BLONDE!!! She didn't do lowlights this time because I wanted it lighter. It was feeling really dark. Well, it isn't anymore! I know it will tone down in a few days, but wow! I like it though! I will have DH take a picture tomorrow if I can remember.

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom peeps! :goodvibes

 I am sorry that you are feeling sad! I know this must be a hard time for you. If you don't feel like going to the inlaws I don't think you should go. Hopefully, they will be understanding. You should take the day and do something nice for yourself. I will send some prayers your way tonight.

Hi Peeps! I hope that everyone is having a nice weekend.:) I got my Crocs! I got a pink pair of the Beach and a black pair of the Mary Janes. The sizing was kind of strange to me. I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 in most shoes. In the beach the 10 felt the best. In the Mary Jane the 10 felt huge so I got the nine.:confused3 I really like them though. I also got a few travel sized items for my trip. I still haven't found any shorts that I like though.:sad2: I need to go to Old Navy. I also need to get over the fact that I hate wearing shorts. I just don't like the way I look in them so it is hard for me to like any. I know that if I wear capris I will be way too hot. Next week, I need to get my hair cut and my eyebrows done. Ten days of school left!!:cheer2:

 I'm so fortunate to still have my mom, but I know father's days are tough for me and my Dad died in 1996! If you don't want to go to the in-laws tomorrow, don't.

 and more  I know these moments sneak up on you and suddenly you're not doing as well as you thought you were. DH has moments like that also. He'll say he needs his dad or he wishes the kids and I could've met him. It's been nearly 15yrs and Kenneth is still missed by his family. The big moments are painful; of course, but some days it's the little things that are the worst. again.
