I've been reading this story from the very beginning last Thanksgiving (or thereabouts), and I've laughed and cried with you and celebrated your accomplishments and prayed for those who needed it...

Read your later post and thanks for all the background... I know its hard when you are new and don't know everyone elses background. But its great that you have been reading around for a while. So glad you joined and are at your goal weight... I know I will need some help with maitenance but one step at a time for me- I need to lose it first!

i think dene already answered this, but SSR is saratoga springs resort. it's across the lake from DTD. it's very pretty and i can't wait to stay there! it's a DVC resort and usually costs around $300/night to stay there, but we rented points from a DVC member (who everyone here knows......she rocks the house!) and got it for a much better price than that. i'm excited because, number one, you can walk to DTD from there, which in and of itself is convenient, but also there's the added transportation bonus of getting from resort to resort. for instance, if you want to get to the poly from SSR, you just walk to DTD and then take a bus directly to the poly. secondly, it's apparently known for being very peaceful, sort of a getaway from the parks. i think it'd be great for you and your DBF (or eventually DH!) before you guys have kids.....or even after!
about september, yes, that's the girls trip in the countdown in my siggie. we're only staying for 3 nights, but i'm excited because i get a little taste of disney before our trip in april! we are staying FOR FREE with eventer at OKW!!! how could i pass that up? i'll probably do a very short TR on it and if so i'll link it in my siggie.
oh, i got this e-mail from jon (my sister's ex) this morning:
Dawn hope you're birthday went well, I realize I'm sightly late with the happy birthday wishes, but it is because I believe your birthdy should be a two day affair. So happy birthday hope you had fun and got cool things
-Jon
very sweet of him to send. he sent it last night around 1:00 a.m. still doesn't mean they're back together......i think he's trying to get brownie points!!!
Wow! Saratoga Springs sounds great... I google imaged it after Dene told me what it was and its gorgeous! You guys will have a great time! I def want to return at least 1-2 more times and go to DisneyLand before I have kids. But I am only 24 and don't know if I want kids at all... so I am thinking I have until at least 30 to get that all in! lol! But, step one- get engaged and married!

Also, thats awesome about the mini-trip! I love reading TRs so I will def check yours out when you come back!
AND, I think you were right about your sister's ex- a little sweet mixed with suck up. lol. Sometimes people just can't get enough of eachother whether they are in good times are bad.
You really can seee a difference AND that red is a great color on you!!!Ok, so I have a few wedding photos from my sisters wedding...not the good ones I was attempting to share a few days ago, but still some Ok shots.
First some before/after shots. Here is a before shot of me from Christmas this year. I am sitting, but you still get the idea....25 pounds heavier:

I agree with the group- ask him out this time, and then you tell him the ball is in his court next round. Also, saw Harry Potter yesterday and thought of you and your date.Hi Peeps!
On to more selfish matters. The boy is annoying me. Things have been very business as usual. No secret flirting, no secret smiles. Well maybe a few, but nothing that I deemed significant. I know he has been really busy this week, but I just want to know if he wants to see me again. On a date, not at the clinic. And everyone is telling me to avoid him and play hard to get. Well I understand that. Guys like a challenge, blah, blah. BUT I definitely have not been doing that. And I can't avoid him altogether because I truly have needed to do work at the clinic and usually it involves me laminating or using a program that is only on the computers in his "office". So avoidance isn't really an option. And he mentioned so many times that he really likes an assertive woman who would ask a guy out. Is that his hint that I have to keep asking him out? I don't really want to do that all the time. Ugh. Boys are frustrating.
At least tomorrow is Friday! Yay!
Very cute! Prego bellies are sooo cute!Alright yall... look at the size of my belly.

Need to lose some weight?![]()

Thanks for introducing yourself!! What a great post!
Dance aerobics sounds super fun. My gym doesn't have classes, I wish they did... I am stuck on the stupid elliptical trainer. I wish I could work in more hockey but it is $$ and the times tend to be inconvenient (mostly after 9PM).
I am active I guess, but I have been finding myself doing really well on 1200 calories. I do cheat occasionally, averaging about once every 2 weeks, and I am sure that an extra 100 cals or so sneaks in there (a ff pringle here, a peanut there) which is why I try to keep it low. Some days I have to force myself to get all my calories in, actually. And it seems the more I exercise, the less hungry I am?However, I am still quite overweight, so maybe my body is happy eating away at all the excess.
I did find that when I exercise regularly, I can maintain well with a watch what I eat on weekdays, indulge on weekends. But once I stop, man, the lbs pile on QUICK.
Oh, I did something healthy... My lazy butt made it to the GYM after work! I did 30 min on the elliptical, 60 crunches on the ball, and a weight circuit. And I didn't leave work until 7:30! My apple jacks snack made it a loooong way.
Wow! Thats great how you are doing with the cals.... I am going for a daily amount of 1500 but sometimes I do not use them wisely and find myself sooo hungry at bedtime, resisting food. Also, I hope I can get on track as you have with the gym! After a full day and not getting out until 7:30?! I will have to buy me some apple jacks!
