I have a meeting in about half and hour so all I can do is a fly-by post.

Christine, we had to order ours at B. Datlons. It was about $45, it that what you paid? I hope I get a super deluxe edition too.

DH and I bought a non-motorized push mower yesterday. I spent an hour mowing the lawn and loved it. I'm pull-cord challenged and can never get the power mower started so this is perfect.

Ok, I'm off to the Ren Faire meeting, I might be abe to DIS later tonight.

Hi Peeps! Today was a loooong day. I don't know what it is but my students were really chatty today. I think they are getting anxious for school to end (26 more days!! ). This weekend my husband and I are going to see Meet the Robinsons at our drive-in. I just saw it listed in the paper today so I am excited! I hope everyone is having a good day! I will be back later to do some quotes.

Lyndadisneyfreak has a deluxe passporter, its so pretty... *I* of course have the regular cheapy one, I bought it 4 years ago, because, well, we were only going to go to WDW just that ONE year!!! (I write in pencil and erase... and erase... but its getting hard to erase, maybe I should glue plain paper over all those erasure lines!!!

What do you guys do for breakfasts? I hate the receipes in the south beach stage 1 so I usually end up just drinking a ton of water and then I do salads the rest of the day. With salmon or other things with them.

I know this won't help you on south beach since I am doing weight watchers but I usually do oatmeal. Occasionally, I will have a WW bagel or english muffin with spray butter and a yogurt.

So I did 75 crunches last night..

I haven't been on much the last week because I've been getting ready for a big thing at church tonight that I'm in charge of. It started out as a very small program for the youth and their parents and now with the help of my techno geek dh, it's a huge production!! But I do love my geek! All I asked for was the mission impossible theme music and a few pictures in a powerpoint and a spot light. Now I have a huge light set up along with video and surround sound. It should be really cool. I've really been stressed about getting it ready, so I'm trying to relax before I have to go set everything up. Oh and I'm also the "starring" role!

Ok, Dan bought me a cat Christmas of 1991. He was a short haired siamese.
He has been going down hill. He has always been a scaredy cat.. truly a scaredy cat. When Dan brought him home to me he was s little.. just a kitten. He has always been my cat.

Well, tongiht he waited for me to come home and Tori was holding him when he breathed his last breath.

We pet him for almost another hour. Then we sealed tha box and dug a hole. Our neighbor was kind enough to dig most of the hole herself. Tori and I stood there and mourned the loss of our beloved pet.

Last night I knew the time was drawing near and I laid him next to me in bed. He purred while I pet him.. Today, he has moved on to wait for us.

This house is so sad. he will be missed.

here is to you my fine friend Buddy.

I love you and I will miss you.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

Bee, that's so sad.. and beautiful!! I love the Rainbow Bridge... Have you read the book "The tenth good thing about Barney" ? If not, and your kids go to school tomorrow, I highly recommend it. DD friend lost her beloved dog to cancer, and I was volunteering at school, I took them to the library and read the book, then they write - it helps to write...

Ok, new contacts are IN, with MUCH cussing (PG words, but at least 4 started with an F). They "feel" fine, but my left eye is blurry. I hope I didn't get it inside out. You can FEEL when it's inside out, cant you? Mine feel comfy (thank goodness). I would instinctively blink like crazy when I was going in, but after like 30 mins. I am ok. (ahhhhhh)

Now, I have HOURS till I have to fret about taking them out.

HOW do people with finger nails do it?

use the side of your finger and look up when you try to put your 'tacts in and take them out...I did this from the time I was in 5th grade to 3 yrs ago...I had Lasik Surgery, it is the very best money I have ever spent. I was very BLIND and couldnt sleep in contacts, so on the nights when DH was at station, I was always scared something would happen in the middle of the night and I wouldnt be able to see well enuff to get my hildren to safety. Lasik is the best and I would do it againin a heartbeat.

I am a pet lover and I know you feel such loss. I went into serious mourning when I had to put my dog down 2 yrs ago...so sad for you tonite...

I am applying for a job and I am scared to death about it...but its a good move for me and really the only 'up' move in my department...but I dont want to get my hopes up cause MrBoss mighta appointed the position if he felt someone in our office was qualified, but instead is taking outside applications...so I dont know if I have a snowballs chance, but am gonna try...

ooohhh I am SUCH a dummy!!!! I com,pleted the whole app...then messed it up on the last thing....duh----now I gotta get a new app and start all over...and I feel so stupid, I have noone to list as a reference, cuz my boss is who I would use as a reference and he's also the interviewer...???!!! what to do?!
