Just had to tell you all I got a letter today from the Church School (our first choice secondary) to say they are offering Jessica a place :cool1: I've finally come down from the ceiling and finished phoning everyone :rotfl2: and had to tell my peeps :thumbsup2 I am so relieved we now don't have to go to any appeals which means no stress

WAY TO GO !!!!  Congrats to the whole "Disney Jo Family" !!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

all of this talk of crackers got me hungry. At the store today I was so excited they had a new kind of cracker. It is called All Bran Garlic and herb. It is sooooooo good:woohoo: They have 120 calories for 18 crackers and they have 5 grams of fiber.

My husband is taking the girls to MN this weekend to play> I was so depressed and down.. so my mom is flying me to Pheonix

Bee

Bee, it's good to hear from you! I've been worried about you! I hope you have a great time on your mini trip!

Thanks for all the whoo hooties on the school and now for some more good news my baby nephew Oliver's results came back negative and he's started feeding too :thumbsup2 he still needs to finish his IV antibiotics but at least he's getting better and should be out of hospital on Saturday :yay:

Food wise I'm loving roasted vegetables at the mo cooked in my stoneware they don't need any oil at all :thumbsup2 I do onion, peppers, tomatoes and courgette. Also for lunch I had a really yummy wrap that I made with cold cooked chicken, cucumber, lettuce and a tiny bit of grated cheese and a little salad cream (do you have salad cream or is it a brit thing?) As punkin said it's so nice to eat healthy yummy food!

Ugh! I feel a tad out of the loop.

What is Wonders writing that she's :scared1: over?

Wonders is working on a proposal for a presentation at a conference, I believe. And she just found out yesterday that it was due today. Did I get that right Wonders?

Lynda was right! You get an A for reading and paying attention ;) . I did finish the proposal last night and met with my supervisor this afternoon.

And he LOVED it! In the middle of reading it, he stopped and said "shannon, this is really good". I am confident in my writing, but I was just really unsure what it was supposed to look like and what to include, ya know? I just have to make a few minor changes and submit online by tonight.

Bad news now. My dad called this morning with a cancer update. He just had another PET Scan done and received the results. Last time it showed that the tumors were shrinking. This time is showed another tumor on his liver. Definitely not good. He sounds so positive about it though which is good. He told me not to be too upset because it isn't the "end of the rope", just another step. I'm so sad, angry, frustrated, confused, worried. So add me (or more importantly my dad) to the peeps prayer list please! Thanks so much!

Off to eat dinner - I'm starving!

That's great about Oliver!
What is courgette? Is salad cream like mayonaise or miracle whip (also known here as salad dressing)

I looked this up: courgette is another name for zuchinni. Salad cream is like mayonaise but has a yellowish color (according to Wikipedia).

Re: my proposal. It has been submitted to the organization. I will know by end of June or July if it has been accepted. If it is accepted, I will get to go to the national convention in November in Bostom, Ma! So please keep you're fingers and toes crossed for me!
