Sounds like a great plan to me. I love Star Wars weekend. WE have done this before--drove down hit a water park, the next day we did all 4 parks, and then the last day we went back to a water park. My kids still talk about it. Have fun--I get to see the baby on Wed. and I can't wait. You will have to let us know when you find out.

I'm very excited for you! The ultrasound picture is on the fridge. It's was so tiny at 6 weeks, but a baby it did resemble.

Daily I feel movement now. The kids talk to my belly everyday saying hi and telling the baby who they are. Real cute.

There's no question about it, I totally look pregnant now.

Fly by posting! I just had to get on and catch up cause I needed to see some encouragement (which I can always count on finding on this thread!)

I was up 2.4 lbs this morning  , which is actually better than I thought considering all the eating and green beer drinking and not exercising I did this weekend! It is crazy that it can take 2 weeks to loose what you can gain in 1-2 days!!! That is so not fair!!!

Back on the wagon today...Happy Monday! :cool1:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY S'LATE!!!!

Have you guys seen that new Subway (or is it Quiznos???) commercial????

This couple are in a drive thru and the guy orders a "Blubber" and the lady orders "Thunder Thighs" with a side of "Buh Dunka-Dunk Butt" !!!!!

I just about laughed my bum off (which wouldn't be so bad!)

It's a great day!

I love that commercial!!! Isn't that what we are all thinking when we order fast food anyway?!? We know it will just sit on our hips eventually!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Does this sound crazy?

Since this baby on the way put our future disney trip on hold, I'm trying to squeeze in a mini trip over star wars weekends. June.

We'd drive down, spend 2-3 nights. Visit 2 maybe 3 parks and drive home.

The drive is 24 hours. Each way.

My husband smiles and kisses my forhead when he sees me looking for all the bargains.

Mal is still free until August. We can still get a single room at a value until then as well.

I'm not crazy right?

Sounds perfectly sane to me! A quick trip to the World is better than NO trip to the World!!!!

Lynda...The pics of "The Furs" are absolutely adorable!!! I always like to see what you take, as you have a great eye! :thumbsup2

Well, I feel like the worst Grandma around! :sad2: Yesterday DH & I took Theo to a church downtown to hear my DS sing in his college choir. Well, I went to the nursery to pick Theo up and on the way back, I fell UP the steps and couldn't prevent him from hitting the landing with his face!!! I had hold of him around the waist, but couldn't lift him and catch myself at the same time! He cut the inside of his top lip, (luckily he didn't chip his newly acquired teeth!) and had a fat lip. He is fine, but I feel awful! I hit my knee on the step, but that is fine. I did, however, pull something in my right shoulder from trying to protect him. I didn't notice it until later in the day as it progressively became more painful. :sad1: I know accidents happen, but I still feel terrible!

I also went to the dermatologist today and had 44 patches put on my back to test for things I'm allergic to. My back is 2/3 covered in tape to keep them in place and I can't get them wet at all.
No showers until fri night!!! :scared1: (At least I can wash my hair and clean up in the sink!)

My DH designed one for me a couple of years ago and the jeweler made it for him. I will get a picture and post it for you.

I really like this style because the stones are big enough that you can tell what they are and I think extra bagettes could be added as kids are born. Just an idea for you.[/QUOTE]here y ago um i tyold ya i wrote it down

HAPPY BIRTHDATE S'LATE
and
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY JO!
ditto, i am behind in post reading but wanted to share my love with all

I have a question for those of you who are using a personal trainer or a nutritionist.

The 100 plus ounces of water- Do you not worry about water toxicity? Hyponatremia, hypokalemia (low salt and low potassium) - both of these conditions can happen with an exaggerated water intake because the water pulls these vital elements out of your body's cells- if you get too much water, and mess up your balance of salt and potassium in your body you can mess up your heart - to the point that it can be fatal.

So if someone could ask- how much water is too much water?

Happy B'day S'Late, Happy late mother's day Jo!

I love the subway commercial! I too about busted a gut when I saw it.

Oh, and any suggestions for a really BAD DOG!! Or does anybody want a REALLY BAD DOG!!!
That 100 pound mutt is eating the vinyl siding off my house! Clear down to the insulation!
We gave him tons of toys, and chew bones- the big rawhide things- I have sprayed the house with that biter spray- Still chewing!
Last year he ate the water hose- I told DH to throw the hosepipe(southern venacular) back in the yard- its cheaper to replace than the siding on the house.

See YA!

Thank You!

Jeriber, Spongie beat you to it!!!!!!

Jeanne- do you mind if I copy you?????

Popping in because I WANT to EAT!!!No I am not hungry and I have taken my Hoodia today but I think I could eat the siding of a house right now!AAAGGHH!I am going to go pick up the kids,at least I won't be near a kitchen for a few minutes.:scared:

I feel like pooh: today.

And now I have to leave in 5 min. to go to class which takes me 45 min to get to (and 45 min. to get back home) only to sit in this useless class for an hour!

That is all.

dismom: Have some salad and some yummy water!! No really - sometimes when I have the munchies a salad will hold me for a little while and with ff dressing - Zero WW points. I would not recommend the vinyl siding- the monster dog barfed all over the porch yesterday- and you guessed it - little bits of styrofoam included:rotfl:

I cant believe none of you dog lovers out there havent jumped at the chance for this prime specimen of DOG!:lmao: Bandit needs a new home- he already ATE MINE!:rotfl2:

wonders Hope you feel better and hope you survive your class- maybe it wont be too boring and you can always hope to get out early. Feel better soon!

Hope you both recover quick and your back doesn't get too smelly, remember when I had it done I blamed DH for having the sneaky chinese :rotfl2:

I wasn'y ignoring y'all all weekend-I am trying to get my taxes done-yuck.

UM-I don't mind at all if you copy the design. I love it because you can see the colors really well and it is just pretty-if I do say so myself. Couple of warnings-don't wear it down a water slide or when doing big cleaning and have it cleaned and checked at least every six months-some stones are kind of expensive if you have to replace them.:rolleyes1

dismom Maybe you should just come over and have a chew on my house:lmao:
The dog seems satisfied- he's taking a nap!;)

Hang in there!

[CENTEROff to Parent consultations now for the teachers to tell me what angels my DD's are and how hard they work, they always describe the wrong kids not mine :confused3 :rotfl2:

How are things going with the school placement for next year? Have you heard anything?

This is a warning! Too much fiber may be bad for your abilities to discipline!!
Ok, here's my true confession....................the other day I was having a very serious "talk" with my ds 13. I was so frustrated with him and was at the end of my rope. So in the middle of our little "talk" there was a little "poof" that came outa nowhere! I tried to continue on like it didn't happen but just watching the contortions on that poor boys face as he tried not to laugh, made me loose it and I started laughing. Anyway, the dang fiber totally ruined my teaching moment!:lmao:

Well, we had our first open house yesterday. And from what the Realtor told us, I think it went well. She said we had 11 groups go through, which I was very happy about. She said there were a lot of nice comments about the house, and everybody loved the yard. But the best news is that she said one couple seemed very interested, and spent a lot of time looking around. So she is going to follow up with their Realtor this week.

We worked really hard on Saturday getting the place ready. My parents, my wife's parents, and the wife and I spent pretty much all day Saturday cleaning up the yard (which honestly is the biggest selling point of this house). We took a lot of wood and lawn waste (leaves, branches, weeds, etc.) to the landfill. I think it took six trips to get everything cleared out. But I'm not all that good at lawn upkeep, so it needed a lot of TLC. I only ate two meals on Saturday, which isn't good. I had cereal for breakfast, and I didn't eat again until we treated ourselves to our favorite pizza place, Firehouse Pizza. So we'll see how my weigh in goes this week. Then we spent the rest of the night decluttering and "staging" the house for the open house (Roger from Sell this House would have been proud).

We are in a funny position with this. We are building a house, and we expect it to be ready by the end of July. So we want the house to sell, but we don't want it to sell too quickly. If it sells too fast, then we'll have to move twice; and we are going to have to either find an apartment that accepts dogs (and hope that our barky dog doesn't get us kicked out), or we'd have to live with our parents for a few months. That would mean we'd be back to dating, only seeing each other a couple times a week and having to talk on the phone every night. But I figure that would be a good problem to have. As long as the house sells, we can figure out the rest later.

All right, I'm off to catch up on what ever I've missed in the past 10-15 pages.
