hope the drugs work.. Back has been ok.. hard to get used to sitting all day again.. hurts a little. I wont be back till Sunday night at 11:30 pm.. Then back to work on Monday!

Have a great trip Bee!

I went to AZ in college for the Fiesta Bowl. It was VERY DRY! (duh!) I got very sick because of it - it's never that dry in Florida! So drink up - water that is!

I just assumed Allie was talking about why the banana man wasn't moving...ie..."lifting" anymore. I never thought she was referring to you, Dan. :confused3

That IS what I was talking about. The banana guy was not moving this morning, and I didn't know why. I wanted him to lift just as you said. I know nothing about Bee and Dan's living situation, so it was NOT intended as a slam to Dan. I would never do something like that. I know y'all don't know me personally, but that is NOT the kind of person I am. I have explained this to Dan in a PM, but thought I should post it here so that you understand where I am coming from. My feelings have been hurt by this. I know that Dan doesn't know me, but he asked that their divorce remain private, and I have respected that and agree. I was just trying to encourage a fellow peep, and interject some humor with the banana guy. Considering their real life circumstances, I see how he misread my post. I am sorry that it hurt him, but it was not intended that way. Hope you peeps understand that I am not a :stir: .

Loss of 4 lbs!!!OK I have to go and change into my new ribbon right now see ya later!!!BTW I cired with tears of joy when I weighed in!

And on you, it looks great!

So I am checking in briefly from work to say I lost 8 pounds. I actually lost it during the ten days I was gone on my trip and have kept it off for almost two weeks since I was back home eating normally - my new normal! so I'm taking it! :cheer2: I've lost about twenty pounds altogether, but it has taken a little over a year. I had been exercising but not lost any pounds since about August. Since that is about the rate I put it on I hope it is the last I will see of it!

Hope everyone has a good day! :yay:

Just keep slimmin'!!! :goodvibes

That's fantastic. Way to go!

[ it takes such hard work to lose weight, and only a few bites to gain it back. I have to examine what it is I want, what it is I'm doing... and do they match!

You said it! I told DH the other night, I feel dumb, because of the things that bring me down, one of the biggest is that I can't eat what I want and weigh what I want at the same time. Well, that's just the way it is, so I have to decide which I want more, high calorie foods, or a healthy, trim body.

Just a quick note...I lost 1 pound this week ! Only one more to go to my pre-kids weight ! :cool1: We leave for Disney in 42 days, and I will need to get some new clothes as everything from last summer is too big... I'm doing the happy dance. We will be staying at Bonnet Creek and I hear it is quite nice, I am really excited.

Woo hooty on your weight and the trip!

For those of you who thought it was the banana I am sorry but my banana is moving "lifing" just fine and always has..which leads me from one personal issue to another :rotfl2: :cool1: :lmao:
:rotfl:
I was just catching up on everything, and wondering if anyone would mention the banana. Thanks for bringing the level of discourse back to where I'm comfortable; in the gutter!;)

I'm thinking about renting one. My mom with her post surgery knee and my stupid foot thought we could just get a tandem scooter. I'm going to "pimp" it out!- also considered putting a "crowd plow" on the front to part the sea of glaring vacationers:rotfl:

I'm totally in on the Harry Potter club:wizard:
Did you peek at my Disneyland TR? I needed the cow-catcher on the front of the scooter. I had to take a couple of people out that got in my way, and I was just driving it to help Dh out.

Just letting you guys know what happened to me today as I left my job.

That is quite an adventure. Thanks for doing the right thing.

i just put a new battery in my scale and when i stepped on it it said 202.................

keep in mind that this morning it said 150.

then i realized that i had to recalibrate it. :rolleyes1
:scared1:  :scared1: :faint:

I can remember the days I was happy to see 202, but to jump there from 150? Yeesh!

It seems unreal to me but exactly two weeks from tonight I will dancing at my wedding..hopefully the DJ plays all the Bee Gee's songs I requested!! party:

i'm so excited for you. Just remember, your wedding is just one day. I pray that it all goes smoothly, but whatever doesn't you can look back on and laugh.

Trying to be #1 on page 700

Woooo Hooooty!

Saturday Night Fever was my first date with DH! We were 16. I had a crush on the brother of the Bee Gees. I was totally in  with Andy Gibb!

I got to see him in person. when I was in college, my sister bought herself, DH (who was DBF at the time) and me tickets to see Pirates of Penzance. Andy was good, but i was all swoony over Barry Bostwick. Oh Brad!

YAY!!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOTTTYYYYY!!!

It's my party!! I've woo hooty'd the riddle once, so getting another hooty is cool (at least to me it is.....)

And yes, I'm off to bed now, DH has been waiting for me.
and a wooo Hoooty to you, too! Did you tell DH? did he look at you like WTH? That's what happens when I hit a milestone at my house.

Sure!!! I wish you were all coming! I am going to meet S'late on Sunday. I'm really looking forward to that!

Meeting a peep! I envy you. DisUnc & Cynderella were at WDW when I was there, but they weren't up for a meet. Maybe I should have tried the Jean Nate'?:confused3

dwheat Where is your trip report? Would like to read it. I thought my scooter could have lots of stickers and ribbons and balloons on it, built in snack dispenser- you know like "pimp my ride":rotfl2:

dwheatl - I dont want to forget to telll you I enjoyed your post!! I chuckled!!

aldisney Girlfriend, it sure is a PITA when someone reads on the internet and then jumps to conclusions, that just were never intended - hope you feel settled and know we never thought you were trying to be an undercover agent trying to do in anyone!! You are very kind, and thoughtful, sorry you felt hurt in the crossfire! I guess that's part of why people joke about donning "flame retardant suits" - This thread has become special because there are no attacks, just support, its important because we feel such a connection, that we are NOT figments of each others imagination, but we have a soul... and we round up the troops, circle the wagons, and spread love, joy, and {hugs} - and we all try to stay positive, and leave the negative attacks for another thread, heck its like I do enough negative talk for about me to me... Here, I can dump my vents - blog about me... (it is all about me, make no mistake!!) Hope you can jump for JOY and feel the PEEP love!! You matter!!

I just skimmed the last page.

Wow Heather! That story is crazy! Was it close to the schools? Do any of your kids play baseball at the Optimist. If you weren't there tonight, you were the only one in town!!! 61 teams! It was a long opening ceremony.

Hope everyone else is well. I will try to catch up later. Good night peeps!

I hit quote to say, HEY WHAT HAPPENED... then I turned the page!! Glad you got an MRI, I can tell you are tired of all the pain... :grouphug:

I understand Allie, dont give it another thought, misunderstandings are bound to happen with this medium from time to time!! Hang in there!

How is your day?? What's happening this weekend? Notice the time? I gave up trying to sleep... to tired to read tho... :cool2:

BEE, did you finally go to bed?? I'm up now!! UMA, talk about wanting to eat late night... my tummy is a growlin big time!! and my acid reflux is acting up... so what do I do??? DIS of course!!

To everyone..

I am not bringing you into this.. I swear.. I love you and the board way to much for that.
Allie- I love you.. no worries.. Stay with us.. you are one fine PEEP. He jumped to conclusions. That is ok.. People make mistakes and read things that are not there.

Eeyore.- yes I went to bed and now I am on my way to the airport. I almost overslept because I had my phone alarm set.. well today is Saturday Duh!!! and I set the alarm to m-f/... idiot.duh.... So glad I woke up.

Love ya alll!!!!!!!!

HAPPY SATURDAY, PEEPS! :sunny:

Woke up EARLY this morning. Could've sat outside and talked to Sandy on the phone. I'm so far behind on my comments that there's little hope I will reply to everyone I wanted to but here goes......

BEE....Have fun in AZ!!!

EVENTER & PUNKIN....Separated at birth? Maybe!?

Loss of 4 lbs!!!
I'm so happy for you, sweet lday! (I left the typo on purpose!)
Just remember, you can't appreciate the 'ups' in life without the 'downs'. You just gotta keep going, one day at a time!
Well said, Michelle!
No flames here. I believe eating healthy and balanced meals is just as good as taking the vitamins.
OK...this is not what I wanted to quote. Just..thanks for checking in and letting us know about Mal's new sister. We miss you around here and will be praying for you.
Anyway our fellowship hall will look like Italy by tonight or very early tomorrow morning. Luv ya'! Thanks in advance for that pixie dust!
Hope it goes well, Allie! I know that's a huge project.
I have to examine what it is I want, what it is I'm doing... and do they match!
You are fabulous, Sandy! We believe in you, sister!
Plus I ate 2 veggie corn dogs for lunch on weigh in day and I think they have a lot of salt.
I WANT A VEGGIE CORN DOG! I did not know such a creature existed! I must have one! Where'd you get them? Are they good?
Thanks for the nice welcome and details on how to this all works!:flower3:
I have been remiss and wanted to say :welcome: Post often and tell us about yourself!
Has anyone tried the Special K Chocolate delite ?
Sounds gooood, Kim. Have you tried the Reese's Puffs cereal. DS HAD to have it at the grocery one day. I bought it and did he eat it? NO! So I started on it. It tastes like dessert! 120 calories per serving...dry. I love it!
Anyway, thanks Peeps for listening! :goodvibes
LYNDA! Do not be discouraged! I am, unfortunately, one of those people who does not notice how other people look. :sad2: I don't notice how people's clothes fit, etc. ....just not that observant I guess. YOU know your success. YOU know your progress. WE know your progress and we think you look FABULOUS! Keep on peeping on, girlfriend!
Those are the moments that will make you whole.
Dawn....I sat in the dark and sobbed when I read this post. You are so right. The things that are most important can be so easily overshadowed by the things that are trivial. Thanks for the reminder.
Street.jpg
Dene! How often does this happen?! This looks like the point where I might evacuate!
I'm getting discouraged. I count the days left until my vacation and see that I'm not going to reach a 30 pound goal in 3 months.
Just because your not losing on the schedule you hoped, don't get discouraged. You can do this! Sorry about your foot.
Also noticed that we have lost quite a few Peeps along the way. Such as:
honeymo78
jaycns
Shula8205
Minnie
Tinkabella
PoohBear77
I've got Shula! PMed her already. Everybody take one...except Tinkabella!
I had a scary day. I went to work and got a call from school nurse saying DD was having an allergic reaction to her antibiotic.
:scared1: Hope DD is better today. Kids are so resiliant! She'll be fine in 2 weeks. Don't worry!
Yesterday if they would have said, "Sorry, all we can do is amputate, I would have been like...Where do I sign!"
Glad you are feeling better and Mr. Loritab is helping you sleep. Prayers for a quick and permanent recovery for someone who's trying so hard to do God's work.
Just letting you guys know what happened to me today as I left my job.
WON-DAH WOMAN! Do they make superhero outfits in maternity? You're awesome!
It seems unreal to me but exactly two weeks from tonight I will dancing at my wedding..hopefully the DJ plays all the Bee Gee's songs I requested!! party:
Don't forget Disco Inferno! I'm so excited for you, sweet girl!
Our neighbor called my mom at work today to ask a favor.
EEK! That's a big favor! Why did the bird have to come to your house? It's not like you have to let it out to go to the bathroom?! Can you keep the bird at your neighbor's house? Do you have a key? Could be a long week.
Trying to be #1 on page 700
YAY!!!!!!
WOO-HOOTY, CHICKS! :thumbsup2
Saturday Night Fever was my first date with DH! We were 16.
Pixie.....I still remember standing in line for the movie. DF's mom had to buy the tickets because the movie was rated R and I was 15 or 16. John Travolta was so HOT! DD and I watched the dance scene on YouTube the other day and got a good giggle.
I had to show off my new bling too.... it's not a ribbon this time. If I would've known I was going 3 times in a year, I would've bought an AP!
ALRIGHT, NONI!!! Love the bling. I would love to do a Christmas trip. Don't be a stranger!
I am sorry that it hurt him, but it was not intended that way. Hope you peeps understand that I am not a :stir: .
I think we all know that was a misunderstanding....although Dan seems to be the only one who misunderstood....cause his banana is the only one that still works...apparently.
Well, that's just the way it is, so I have to decide which I want more, high calorie foods, or a healthy, trim body.
Is this a trick question? And DISUNC wasn't up for a meet? I would love to meet him in person! He's such a hoot!

HAVE A GREAT DAY, PEEPS! :flower3:

We are going back to Disney in June! I had no choice but to wait until then b/c I work for a teacher and only get school holidays and summers off. Less then 3 months to go!

MHL and BeeWOOOHOOOTY
:rotfl2: I love you Peeps!!

See, in the 70's I was "legal" and dh wasnt... he, not so much, but baby I luved to dance!! and I was the "designated driver" in case you wanted to know just how "weird" I truly...was ok fine AM!! :rotfl2:

any and all music you have will be wonderful... but do think of me when you hear "CELEBRATE< celebrate... dance to the music"... :dance3:

OK I forgot to mention my encounter with the bulls - yep, been there, done that, more than once... been to rodeos too, now I wasnt crazy enough to get on a live one, but my aunt (2years older than me, like my sister, trust me!! daredevil she was... married a preacher man, still married, everyone that goes to her mixers loses!! :rotfl2: she won the medal that night!! ) 8 seconds, n o biggie for us neither!! :rotfl2:

Can you just imagine us at a Peep meet with a bull?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Celebrate is on the list!! Don't you worry! That would be quite a lot of fun to have a Peep Meet/Bull Ridin' Party! :lmao:

i'm so excited for you. Just remember, your wedding is just one day. I pray that it all goes smoothly, but whatever doesn't you can look back on and laugh.

Yeah...I tend to get very nervous in front of crowds and I am a perfectionist. I have to realize that something will go wrong and that I have to laugh it off!!

Can you just imagine us at a Peep meet with a bull?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Now that's tag worthy..... :rotfl:

I so agree with youon this one! WOuldn't it be great to be a bride once a year!

Me too, but it's so expensive to have a wedding, even a small one like I had. I'd rather take the $$ and go to WDW. I'm a princess every day when I'm there even if I don't get to wear the frilly gown.

and a wooo Hoooty to you, too! Did you tell DH? did he look at you like WTH? That's what happens when I hit a milestone at my house.

DH does the riddle with me a lot so I thought he knew all about the hooty. I read him your comment and he looked at me and said "What's a woo hooty?" :confused3 sheesh...men. Thanks for the congrats. :)

Eventer~ Good luck today. I remember all the last minute things I did for my wedding. We did everything ourselves, the flowers, the food, and the bridesmaid dresses. I actually bought invitations and 2 corsages but broke one down to make smaller ones. I was in such a rush to leave the morning of our wedding and I forgot my hair piece. With all the 'help' from my grandma, I was about half crazy but all in all it was a wonderful day. Make sure you take a bit of time and destress before the wedding.

Sandy~ What in the world are you doing up so early?? I was up that early this morning but my alarm goes off at 5:20 everyday so it's not unusual for me to be awake.

Stacey~ I didn't know exactly what happened but I get the gist of it. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Melinda~ Thanks for the trip congrats. I've heard good things about Disney at Christmas and after seeing a few of the holiday specials on the Travel Channel last year, I told DH we had to go. We had planned for Dec 2008 but he found a way to get it a year earlier. Of course, me stating I'd rather do two budget trips than one great big one may have had something to do with it.

Bee~ Take care of yourself out in AZ. I'd say have fun but it sounds like a whirlwind trip and you have to work as soon as yuo get back, so I know you'll be tired.

Fidge~ 4 lbs!! Woo Hooty!!!

Monica~ Congrats on a girl. I know several people who are having girls this year. When DS was born, it was a boy year.........and I wanted a girl.

Allie~ Good luck today! I know you've got a lot to do. :hippie: and

Pigget~ WTG on the drug bust assist! It's hard keeping our neighborhoods and children safe and when the bad guys can pull one over on the cops, it get harder. I'm glad you were able to help put a few bad seeds out of commission for a bit.

Ok, I've still got a lot of catching up to do. I have to do some house cleaning too, I walked into my kids rooms the other night and was quite unhappy with what I saw.

Dene! How often does this happen?! This looks like the point where I might evacuate!

They've been working on my street for 2 months... and it looks like that every time it rains. Monday and Thursday, we had over 1.5" of rain each day... probably did yesterday as well. According to the sign, they should be finished in 3 or 4 weeks... we'll see.

Wooo Hooooty for me

I'm going to be the "Member Spotlight" in the Y's member newsletter next month! :woohoo:

Gotta run to yoga... or fishtail down the street anyway...

Good morning all. I am sitting her at work--not really work. It is Saturday school and it is for kids that missed to many days are got into some really big trouble and this was the alternative to suspension. I sit here and make sure that they are not talking and doing any work they must make up. It is the longest 4 hours of my life. Today I have wonderful kids sitting in here that are responsible for a migraine I had last week. I am very sensitive to smells and they are one of my big triggers. Well these two guys thought that it would be funny to set off a stink bomb in my building. I was so sick that day. Well they sit before me and I got to tell them all about how they made me sick--they were really embarressed. I also told them that later in life if they did something like this again and made some one pretty ill they could have charges filed against them. That really shocked them. So I have 5 kids here all being quite and working--and only 35 minutes have passed.

Stacey I have battled migraines since I was 8 years old. The first one scared my parents to death. I have had two scans and they reveal nothing. As I have gotten older they have gotten better. That all changed with Katrina last year. After the storm everything changed. I guess last November they started back without mercy. I was having 3 and 4 a week and times they would last days to a week. I was a very miserable and emotional person. I usually tolerate them very well because at a young age I decided this was a part of my life and I would not let it win. Last year it started winning--between work (which I detested getting up for every day becuase my students were horrible--not joking-subs stopped working for me and my fellow teachers), a new baby, and life in general I quit fighting. I was not depressed but close to it--becuase I was in such pain almost everyday and could not function the way I liked to. I was at the Dr.'s on a biweekly basis. By first of June and when the major stress of school was over my headaches were getting better. I was down to maybe 2 a month. I can handle that and I can live with that. As far as warnings go I really do not have any--if my right eye had piercing pain then I know I have a real bad one coming and it is to late to do anything. Other than that I never know. I have been on so many different meds over the years and I am not a medicine person. I was on last year only for pain FIORICET (which I think is a generic version of TORIDAL) that worked well--it is a pain killer, but I can still function with it and it does not knock me out. Well being preggo I cannot take it only DARVACET--do not like it as much. Anyway...

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday--looks like it might rain here--I can only hope so maybe all this pollen will be washed away.

ALDISNEY
--As far as the banana talk has gone yesterday --- I had no clue as well---I figured you were talking about the banana--even though mine on this computer was moving, but I have been on others that it doesn't.

WOO HOOTY!!!!!!! WTG Dene!!!!!! You deserve it!

I forgot to let everyone know the update on my sister's house hunting. Peeps prayers really do work! She got approved for a really cute little place in one of the historic areas of town. It's pretty small but she loved it. The place is well maintained and the neighbors are very friendly. She has a washer and dryer on site (not pay, either!) The rent is about $100 less a month than in her old place, so it worked really well. Her new digs are 10 min away from my house rather than 20-30 depending on traffic. Her friends; who seem to be housing snobs, were impressed too. She's selling some of her furniture because it wouldn't fit in the new apartment and she was tired of it but there is someone interested in it and seems to think her asking price is good so she'll be able to cover double rent for 2 mos since she's signing her new lease so early. Thank you all for praying that things would work out!

That is aswesome!!! :cheer2:

OK, I have to go back and read, but I wanted to check in and say that

I have Sandy's pillow!

Now, the ransom...

JUST KIDDING! It's safe and sound and waiting for you Sandy. That is, if you consider it safe in the same house with DH, who joked of stealing it. (At least I assume he was joking. ;)) :rotfl:

Good morning Peeps!

DS has his first baseball game today. So we will be headed to the fields soon.

Heather, sounds like you have had a long battle with the headaches. I pray the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly. My headaches improved after the first trimester.

So glad it is you and not me. We did that for 1 year and vowed never again. If he actually enjoyed baseball that might have been different. Just not a fun place to be if your kids does not enjoy it. Have fun.
