I was just going to ask the same about you! I just got home from my nanny job and we have not had a drop of rain yet. But the winds are awful and I know the rain is coming or will just barely miss us. Are you near where the tornadoes were today? I will say my grass has not been this green in over a year!

My backyard lake is getting deeper and luckily, no tornadoes. My Yorkie took a leap off the back porch to go potty and landed in a puddle DD19 thought it was very funny

The first pic is of Ray and I about 3 years ago....at the weight I would like to be back at!! The other is purely for your entertainment...riding the bull at my best friend's bachlorette party last August!!

i just put a new battery in my scale and when i stepped on it it said 202.................

keep in mind that this morning it said 150.

then i realized that i had to recalibrate it.

It seems unreal to me but exactly two weeks from tonight I will dancing at my wedding..hopefully the DJ plays all the Bee Gee's songs I requested!!

Lord help me.

Our neighbor called my mom at work today to ask a favor. They are going out of town tomorrow for 5 days and the person who was supposed to watch their bird backed out at the last minute. So she asked us. I was a little concerned just because I don't know what its like to take care of a bird, but the bird is the least of my problems right now.

For Sale! Tonight only! Young, Black Standard Poodle with papers. $10 or best offer.

She is driving my mom and I nuts, and I'm concerned that she will give the bird a heart attack! She will not stop barking! She has sniffed the cage and come right up to the bird, and all she wants to do is stand in front of the cage and bark at it!

ETA: Yes, we obviously have taken her out of the room, but our house is very open so she can see it and hear it from practically everywhere. We even have the baby gates out. Nothing is working!

Suggestions on how to shut her up would be great, if not just some pixie dust that she calms down soon. Is it Wednesday yet?

Good, get the one at Walmart. There's Tons of fakes out there. Nothing diluted with Green Tea or anything! It's called "Hoodia X57" at Walmart in the Slimfast area near the pharmacy. I SWEAR it works. Pretty much right away too. Look on the Internet if you have any questions about this brand.

It's been such a godsend for my nighttime munchies!

I LOVE 70's music..I have forever!! Infact, most of the songs on the DJ "must-play" list are from the 70's and 80's. Now if only I could dance like John Travolta in SNF!! Luckily, my two matrons love all that stuff too so I won't be dancing out there alone!!

I fell in love with There You'll Be by Faith Hill when I saw Pearl Harbor. So she knew that I would be picking that song even though Ray had yet to enter my life. He came along 5 months too late.

Thanks for the compliment!! Mind you I don't drink so I got on that bull clear-minded!! I was more scared of falling off and getting hurt infront of the dozens of drunk bar patrons. All those years of riding my older horse must have helped. He tried to throw me off at least once every ride!! All the girls out at that bach. party were horse girls so we got hit on plenty by the drunk guys who thought we were oh-so-cool for staying on past 8 seconds!!

OK, I lost 1lb. this week. So, I am at 227.2, for a total loss of 22.8 lbs. I am going through some frustrations/internal struggle today. I will talk it out here a little later.

Lynda, hang in there. I was stuck at 13 pounds off for almost a month. Finally, I reduced my calories for a week and saw a good loss. I'm bumping back up a little this week as an experiment. Hope it doesn't backfire!

I'm sorry, I know this is not funny, but that so sounds like my dog! A bird in the house would drive him bezerk and then Dh would be yelling "Shut up you stupid mutt" and he'd be louder than the dog. It would be a three ring circus around here!

I haven't been able to read anything since Tues night so I'm waaaaayyy behind. I'll try to catch up a bit tomorrow and Sunday. I hope everyone had a good weigh in. I'm at the end of my month off and I gained exactly 1 lb this month. I've been the same weight almost every morning for more than 2 weeks. I'm back on the wagon on Sun. I have to get the junk cleared out of the house again.

I just wanted to post a quick "Hi!" so every one knows I'm still around. I'm about a quarter of an inch from declaring myelf insane, but I'm here. I had to show off my new bling too.... it's not a ribbon this time. If I would've known I was going 3 times in a year, I would've bought an AP!

I believe she did b/c she had no interest in meeting the guy I was dating when she was sick...at first I was crushed b/c I thought he was the "one." But a little verbal abuse later I realized he was far from it. I think she knew there was someone else out there for me.

Night Peeps! I have to get up early to meet with the flower lady again and then head over to a friend's to print up the placecards. The future in-laws tried to meddle with that too but alas, I am not making their "suggested" changes. Chip in some money and I will consider them...until then I think I like the seating arrangement how I have it.
