I have a question for the current or former South Beachers out there. I finally bought all the food, summoned up the committment, etc., and started today. I feel sick. Headache, sort of nauseous, very tired. Is this normal? More specifically, how long do I have to feel NASTY until it goes away? I am a lover of all things sweet, and am giving up the Pepsi at the same time I'm doing the diet (diet pop tastes gross to me, so I figured it would be better to just go without.). I've never had caffeine withdrawal before, but maybe in combination with the sugar withdrawal this is all to be expected??? I'd love your input and/or encouragement! It's bad, because I usually go walking at night, but I'm feeling so barfy I can't put a big happy "X" on my calendar tonight (indicating my exercise for the day).
