Oops I forgot.

One of the 4 kids that was going to stay at the other daycare is coming back.

And another old client called to bring their child back!

I forgot to bring my digital camera to the church. Actually I forgot my entire purse, so we bought a disposable for in church pictures.

Here are some pictures:
Here's a side by side of how Madelyn has changed since she was born:

Hi Peeps! :) Sorry I've been MIA.

DH & I went to Indy this weekend to see my best friend and her DH. We got to feed and pet a walrus! :cool1: It was pretty cool!

I have been busy working on wedding pics whenever possible because those need to be done before we leave. I also got Photoshop, and I'm in the process of moving all of the pictures over to the other laptop (with the larger hard drive).

And yesterday I had to call work and tell them I would be late because I forgot to take my Prilosec Sunday in Indy, and we ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise. I had the crab cakes (which were great), and they did not agree with me. I had to take some pepto and lay back down for a couple of hours. I felt much better when I got up again. But I had some cereal before leaving for work (only because I thought I should have some fiber or something), and I wasn't hungry until late that afternoon. So I was pretty low on calories yesterday. And today at lunch I went and bought more Activia yogurt and apples, both of which I was out of. I am thinking eating those again regularly will help me too.

I also finally remembered to order some new pants (in a size 16-down 1 from what I am currently wearing) from Old Navy. I can't wait for them to arrive so I can see how they fit. I also ordered a pair of size 16 shorts on sale for $9.99. I hope those fit too, so I'll have another pair for the trip! :)

Hope everyone is having a skinny day!

YAY on the daycare kids! That is great! And the pics are adorable!

Ryan update---his lliver biopsy was almost normal. Hardly any rejection left so they are not going to do anohter biospy--Praise GOD!!!. He still has the virus, but hopefully that will clear up soon. He asked the Dr. when he could go home and the Dr. said in about 4 weeks. So things are looking up. THey will continue to do lab work-- I will let you guys know if anything has changed.
:cool1: That is fantastic news!!

Fly-by check-in! I know it has been ages. I just finished a really hard class and work has been busy. Jackson started playing football.

Madelyn is beautiful!!!

I saw Heather today. She looks great and very pregnant!

Hope everyone is doing well!

It went not great, but better than I expected. I think that they are going to work with me to get this thing done.

congrats!!! :thumbsup2

As Malorie says, "Now baby Madelyn can hear God in her heart!"

that's so sweet! and i love the pics of the kids! :)

How do women wear suits every day? I wore this one today for my talk and I am seriously about ready to shred it. And hose MUST have been created by the devil. It is rather funny to get the double take from people at work though.

i hate suits AND panty hose. i very rarely wear either. i usually wear dress pants or capris with a nice shirt or a long dress or skirt. in the winter i'll occasionally wear a knee-length skirt with boots but i usually wear tights instead of hose. for some reason they're not as uncomfortable. anyway, have you guys ever noticed how the size charts on the back of panty hose packages are always wrong? i always buy a size bigger than what it indicates....otherwise the crotch of the hose will be somewhere around my knees and that makes for a most uncomfortable day!

congrats on the new size.......so exciting!!! :yay:

i'm going crazy planning a reception for anna a/k/a wonderwoman. she's getting married in destin on october 20th with just a few friends and family. but i knew all her other friends that aren't getting to go to the wedding wanted to do something and no one would step up to say what. she was getting stressed about it, so i stepped up to the plate and volunteered to organize a reception after they get back from the honeymoon. now all the girls i've notified of this and asked for help from are being so indecisive and TOUCHY about everything......it's such DRAMA!!!! i hate dealing with girls when it comes to stuff like this. they're so sensitive! anyway, we're going with a beach theme for the reception. does anybody have any suggestions? i know we've got a crafty bunch here, so any of your suggestions would be appreciated! :goodvibes

Well, I see seashells, flip flops, palms... What's your setting? I LOVE weddings! Probably why I enjoy photographing them so much. We actually did a LOT of the work on my wedding ourselves. And I have helped several friends too. So let's talk reception!

Hi, Peeps. Checking in briefly to see how everyone is doing! It has been downright chilly here in Michigan today. I had to dig out my jeans!

Sending pixiedust for everyone who has been under the weather. Feel better soon.

Aaron, so sorry to hear of the trouble at your workplace.

HockeyKat, glad to hear that you are finishing your MS project. My DD is in the process of choosing her topic.

Mony - The kidlets are adorable!!!!!!!!! Glad one of your little daycare buddies has returned.

I second Sandy and others who suggest drinking lots of water to help clear up breakouts.

punkin - Pottery Barn had a lot of beachy decor items such as shells earlier this summer. Maybe some of that stuff is on clearance now in the stores or at their outlets. Also, if you Google "beach theme wedding reception" or some similar combination you will find lots of ideas.

Hi! Cold? My kids went swimming today!:goodvibes

I have seen others talk about their trip reports here so I thought I would mention mine.If anyone is interested I have a link in my siggie.:goodvibes I alredy have a couple of Peeps visiting....

Hi Peeps! So glad to read all of your posts.

Punkin, I'm the least creative woman on this earth. I have no ideas EXCEPT to maybe check your local interlibrary loan system and see if there are some books that do have ideas. If you can get one with lots of illustrations, pictures, etc., you could go from there. There are probably plenty of internet sites too - books are easier to flip through for me, once I can get them.

Last night was the season finale of "Fat March." I've been following this show with avidity (why?) and was amazed that two of the marchers had to walk 33 miles in one day. Let's see. I don't think I could walk 33 miles in less than a week, but in one day? Very motivating! Now I need a show called "Food Avoiders." Maybe that would help.

I'm beginning a new biography of Walt Disney. It's THICK and probably much deeper than I really need, but I'll give it a try. I think he's an amazing person and I'm really grateful for the legacy he left the world. (That sounds so cliched. Oh well.)

Sponge, good to see you on the thread!

Big hugs to everyone!

I loved that show.:goodvibes Did you watch Biggest Loser tonight?

Oh, and Lynda, ROCK OUT on the new size! I'm also a heartburn victim and I sympathize big-time on the lack of Prilosec! (I had my gall bladder out a few years ago and am down to Zantac but it's a terrible day without it!) I'll have to try the Activia yogurt for my digestive upsets.

i haven't seen the setting yet! it's not going to be huge.....just a way for anna's friends to get together and celebrate the wedding. one of our other friends is going to ask her mom if we can use her country club's clubhouse on november 10th. it would be free and anna has seen it and LOVES it. so i'm not sure what the inside looks like. i know one of our crafty friends has volunteered to make the centerpieces for the tables, so that's done. i already have a DJ, another one of our talented friends, so that's taken care of. i know i'm gonna get some mini starfish and scatter them out on the food tables. another one of our friends has a side photography business (probably similar to yours, lynda) and she's going to do some sort of picture presentation with anna and chris. anna is insisting that she take care of the cake and the alcohol. basically i have to worry about the food, most of the decorations, invitations, the table cloths, plates, etc. i also want to get a big banner to hang up. i found one of those with a tropical theme for $20 at orientaltradingcompany.com. it shouldn't be too complicated.

i don't know how she's going to handle telling the rest of our friends that me and two other girls are going to the wedding. some of the girls in our circle are really weird about stuff like that. but she wanted only her family and her very closest friends there. one girl actually said to her, "i'm gonna be at fort walton beach when you get married and i can't stand the thought of being that close and not being there. is it okay if i come?" :confused3 i think that's so rude. if you weren't invited, don't invite yourself! and i'm not just saying that because i am invited. i told anna if she gets frustrated and doesn't want ANY friends there, that i wouldn't be the least bit offended. it's THEIR day. they can do what they want! i don't get why people don't understand that. these are the same girls i'm dealing with with planning the reception. i'm in for a long two months!!!

thanks! i too am very UNcrafty! i'm good at organizing things though. so i think i'm in the right position by delegating! ;)
