Finally caught up and firstly Fidge well done on the jobs. :thumbsup2

Cant wait till Disney Jo chastizes us for not knowing the areas of England - because we all know that everyone from England is just an hour from London.. and there are no beaches in all of England!! :sad2: (that was an attempt at humore btw!!) because we all know that Jo wouldnt respond like Tiki, and that is my point - so many of us should have pride in where we are from, but I wouldnt attack anyone for not knowing where Chicago was... :confused3
I'm offended that you don't all know. :rotfl2: (actually I do live one hour from London but only go a few times a year, and I was brought up right by a beautiful sandy beach (the sea wasn't quite blue though :rotfl2: ) I'm reasonably well educated and well travelled but haven't got a clue where loads of places are either!)
I do get a little worried sometimes as the English humour is so different to yours that's why I use a lot of smilies. :rotfl2: Also some of our words are rude to you and viser versa(sp) like Fanny pack, fanny is really rude here and we call it a bum bag which is rude to you! I haven't read the latest on Staceys dining report but will do now, can I just say that it was a superb report and I thouroughly enjoyed it. Also people should really remember if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything!

I just got me a Dyson!!!!!!!!!!
Not fair mine still hasn't come (that's what comes from wanting to save money!) so instead of me telling you how good mine is you'll have to report to me on yours!

See you guys later the girls are going dry slope skiing with choir, neither have done it before so I expect there will be lots of falling over.

Afraid I am but a mere mortal... only lost 2.8 this week. I knew it would slow down eventually, but... darn. Ticked me off. Can I blame AF? ;)

Yes, you can!!
Okay... FINALLY got caught up!

Congrats to all the losers and samers! Encouragement to the gainers. Way to go grumpy! :yay:

We're making decisions day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute to stay on that wagon (or at least close to it).

I couldn't post earlier... between actually having to teach today and writing up my "teacher self report parts II & III" and then going to the gym, I'm a bit late today.

Been lurking this week... praying for the folks who needed it, thinking happy birthday thoughts, laughing, etc.

Love to all my peeps! :grouphug:

I think that bears repeating!! :goodvibes Thanks Dene!!

Okay i also think i may have caught up(is that possible on this blink and ya miss 200 post thread:laughing: ) i am so excited i have to shout my news to all my peeps...
I am getting the best Valentine present ever(no it is not a disney trip although that would be cool)my Dh is buying me a 8 wk old Buff cocker spaniel puppy (my favorite dogs ) i get to go see her (my lil' LADY is what i am gonna call her as of now) tomorrow. i am so excited:lovestruc i had a cocker about 10 yrs ago and she passed away suddenly.so sad... this lil girl is just 4wks old right now she has to stay with her mommie so i get her march 1st. i just had to share my news with all my peeps :grouphug: what is it with them moving all the smilies around i am getting dizzy:headache:

I want a puppy!! and I'm sorry, but "no womb" was that "funny" or did something bad happen??? :grouphug: anyway, because I can feel your excitement all the way here in IL!! :yay:

Wonders- NICE Minnie!!!! You are so cute!

OH, I like that, must change my avatar too!! Thanks for sharing!!
DisneyFreak- Did 22 minutes. I am gonna be soooo sore tomarrow.I NEED to do this. I need to exercise!!!!

Say what?? Y'all inspired me, but I lost the 21 min challenge... :(
Everyone- My DH accidentally left the Annual Pass for Disneyland (the reciept and info.) in the printer! SURPRISE!!!! My family is in Cally where I grew'd up. So we'll get to go see them more often! YAY! More Funnel Cakes.....:cloud9:
YOU"RE IN DISNEY!!!
We are really glad you found us too!!!! :grouphug:

BORGI was thinking the same thing!! :goodvibes

Do you like the exercise ball. All the magazine exercise sections seem to have programs using the exercise ball. I am not very coordinated. I just picture my self looking like I'm in ascene from "I love Lucy", "Laverne and Shirley" or maybe "saturday night Live" if I try one!:scared1:
I LOVE the exercise ball :goodvibes I got mine at Target, and I was a bit nervous I may pop mine.. but nope... its super easy to do the sit ups on, it helps my back - wonderful!! The one at Target that has Core Secrets (or Core something) comes with a dvd - when I had my hour with a trainer at Ballys, she had me doing weights on the thing, really easy on the back!! I HIGHLY reccommend the ball!! And it is good for posture, I think Utahwendymamma posted about sitting on hers while dis'in
DD has a soccer game in a little while and the actual feel temp is 28. DH is dtaying home with DS so he will not have to get out in this weather at least. DH says he is being a protective dad, protective my foot he just doesn't want to be standing out at the soccer fields freezing his bumm off.:lmao:

Well, its a frigid neg 15 BELOW ZERO (F which 32 deg F = 0 Celcius...) 10 more days of this .... anyhooo... with my boys they did LaCrosse, I always kept blankets and spare $1 gloves in the car - as well as a chair, it comes in handy!!

StaceyJust know that for $5 you get a teeny tiny glass of ice wine - savor it - and know the bottle is like 300ml (tiny) and cost $75+ so it is a great chance to taste some awesome wine, but it may be hard to justify that cost... sticker shock!! It tastes sweet, but its not "syrupy" at all! I'm thinking if you do a search "ice wine" you'll find lots of fans of the stuff!!

Lynda Awesome Day

Melinda Love how you reduced Lady and the Tramp to a manageble size!!

My oh my, I miss you guys! :lovestruc I do lurk here often! Congrats on the babies:cheer2: WOWSIERS! A huge thanks to utahmama and Aires! You guys so made my day, it's been a rough couple of weeks :sad2: and that was such a wonderful surprise in the mail:cloud9: ! I even wore it to the gym last night and when I recieved a phone call after my time on the elliptical I though about skipping my weight lifting, but then I saw it and thought WWPD? Well peeps would get their rear in gear and do their weight lifting! So I did :woohoo: I feel so down lately and my eating is not great but I am keeping up with my exercise so I know if I can get control of my eating then this weight that I have gained WILL COME OFF! :hippie: I'll keep lurking for some motivational support! Good Job losers! Keep working gainers and samers you CAN DO IT!

summers

Happy Saturday!!!We survived Friday yippeee!

Stacey the only geography I know is where the grocer is, the post office the bank, the school , work and where DIsney is!! You can't mean to tell me there is anywhere else I need to know is!!!:confused3 Silly ole bears!

JO - my fav is a "nappy" here I think that is a lie down around 3pm when all is good. NOW your NAPPIES.....;) :rotfl: not a part of the day one looks forward too!!:rotfl2:

You know I had a ton of things to say to a ton of people and yup my head just had antoher cramp!

MelindaWooo Hooty!:cool1:

OK I must tell on myself! After DS siniging we went ot JOhnny Rockets, beofre heand the boys stopped at Wendy's I passed! Now I have not been OUT since I started this. Was not certain how I would hold up under pressure. They had a burger with swiss cheese, onion and mushroom and could find merit in the vegetable section of the burger!!:rotfl: SO I went for it! THe waitress said I can't eat without the shake, I sure can I said! Skipped the shake DS and DH was sucking away on theirs while I had the water. I was afraid the scale would say I gained 10 lbs from the burger! It was sooogood!! I ate 2/3rds and DS was happy to finish. SO I will not go on scale today and will instead do some exercise, I have been lumpy the past few days.

Ok the job front. I drive handicapped wheelchair bound students as well as behaviorly challenged and speical needs students too! I love my little darlings! SO I will drive and then do the real estate gig on weekends and the hotel in the evenings. I do not know how long I will be able to hold up. I have lupus and sometimes my system can get really run down. I truly think if I can stay focused I cna do this. I wnat to be able to take DS traveling next year and do some repairs around the house. WIth school out in the summer it wouldn't be too hard.

I am hoping maybe the real estate gig could turn into something that would help eliminate the need for a 3rd job. I learned DH had changed his withholding by a suggestion of a co worker and we will ahve to pay this year. I had no idea and had planned our trip based on our usual refund. I wish that man would not talk to other men!!!:confused3 :furious:

speaking of men: GRumpy manwooo hooty and congrats on the lose way to go!!

Dene - I would still be honored to carrry your water bottle, my exercising hero!!!

Melinda- wow you make pregnancy look lovely!! I on the other hand was a poster child for swelling and water rentension!! :rotfl:

ok I tihnk htats it for the moment, I am sure after I post I will remember al the other things I wnated to say!

OK YES no wonder I have no idea what a Dyson is, its a hoove rfor heavens sake, I just tape up DS and the dogs and roll them around on the floor you see ususally we have an uncanny ability around here to break all vacumms at once! Amazing and I always have 10 of the wrong bags as the oness I do have are the ones that don't work anymore!!! My cure, remove carpettting!

What?!? Peep water causes babies?

Who is pregnant? (besides MonyMonyMonica?)

You guys are a riot. Hi Disney Jo- we haven't met- but I really enjoyed your post about fanny pack vs. bum bag... now I have to be all concerned about cross cultural humo(u)r. :) One thing I love about the DIS is broadening my horizens.

Spongie- Congrats on the new family member!

Utah- NO WAY!!!! So happy for you!!!!!!!!

I also need to quit wasting so much time playing. We are putting our house on the market and I need to get it cleaned and organized.... this weekend! So I don't think I will try to exercise today but maybe "power clean" while I suck in my abs.

Have a skinny day, Peeps!

I fogot to mention, I have a hig black bear population up here and a den not far from my house. Every spring I am out on my deck with my broom yelling at this smae bear to get away form the bird feeders and from my paint! I paint every spring and she always some how shows up and dumps deck stain her her head!! THat right sticks her head in the can year after year...ahh duh!! I have a cat she is 9 yrs old and is a tiny little thing and defned sthis house like no man can! SHe chases the bear away too!!

Anyway, my brooms have taken over the floor as I have removed all caprets and have hard wood floors and this allows me the abilty to multi taks, swat the bears for family memebers as well as clean the floor. No bags needed no worry if the pup chews a cord..there isn't one! All good!

My cat is very sicka nd have had the vet over 4 x in one month , DS is haert broken as we lost 2 of his cats to the animals around here. ONe was biten by a snake and died and the other lost a battle with an opussom.

I am considering a kitten for him he just loves them soo, but my sister is very allergic and would not be able to come and stay at the house on vacation. I am so torn, any ideas would help. I can't please eveyone and don't know what to do??:confused3

Harley- I am hoping to be sent to the naughty corner for eatting so badly, can you send me there with the fireman to keep an eye on me???;) :lmao: :cool1: :thumbsup2

DisneyJo I had a pen pal from England in high school, she came for a visit - and I thought I was showing her "the" sights of Northern Indiana - the Sand Dunes - they are spectacular - very tall - special... that's when she informed me they had sand and beaches in England!! :oopsy:

Congrats on the Dyson btw!! It'll be here afore you know it!! (and I cant get over my friends name is a naughty no no in English speak... Randy!! :rotfl2: it just cracks me up!!:rotfl2: )

got interrupted, such is Saturdays!!

Oh before I forget...

GET OFF YOUR DUFF and DO 25 SIT UPS NOW NOW NOW....
Seriously, YOU are worth it!! If you have stairs in your home, go up and down, up and down... if not, find a step and do it that way!! COME ON - no excuses now... JUST DO IT!!!

and for goodness sakes... SUCK IT IN!!!

I'll be expecting a full report!! NO EXCUSES!!! ;)

My house is so quiet,Dragonfly took the girls for the day, though her boyfriend looked terrified. It was pretty funny.:lmao: DH and DS9 are gone intil about 2:30 and DS11 is hiding because I mentioned cleaning the house. This NEVER happens to me.:cloud9:

WOOOOOHOOOOTY

WTG Dragonfly, Dismom, and Harley!! Do tell, was it hard? How was your time? Did you walk, run or both?? :yay: :cheer2:

FIDGE I can barely post from :rotfl2: tears are running down my face!!! I havent laughed this hard in a long time!!

I was frustrated trying to find one of my "avatars" that fit the 3.9 guidlines, seems all mine are in the 4.0 range... I finally got to this one and thought, this is exactly how I feel!! :rotfl2:

and spill on the bday surprises!!

Here we are at MK in the Mainstreet stores (it was raining out) and the Barbershop Quartet saw DD button, and pulled her and another bday boy up to sing to them, all the people sang too...
You cant plan for magical moments, but you can set the stage!! Let things happen, make sure you take time to "smell the roses" and breath in the magic!! :wizard:

I forgot, my mom is in the pic too - it was her bestest bday!!

IMG_1806.jpg

Here we are in Epcot, and a CM asked if DD got her Goofy call - we looked confused...
5391ea6c.jpg

Mickey and Goofy and the gang called to wish DD a happy birthday!! After that first "treat" other CM's also would ask dd if she got a call, she wouldnt say anything, and after she told me, I love it when they make they call, they look as happy giving me the phone as I do!! :goodvibes

I always order the slipper resort and a cake at the 1900 Park Fare - its at the Grand Floridian, and they do cakes right!!

I love mine! It actually came with an inflatable ring that the ball sits in to stabilize it, and small hand weights attached to the ball with resistance bands. Both can be removed as well. It also came with a DVD, but I haven't busted that out yet - just the instruction sheet. DH and I did laugh a LOT the first time I used it though! :rotfl:
