Hi all...just had to say I just had the privalege of spending 6 hours with Bee and was so glad we realized she would be within minutes of my home! Maybe you all have had prior chances to meet other Peeps but this was our 1st and was awesome! Dan...AKA Grumpy...was even perplexed over how we all felt like we had know each other before. (It was decided it was not from my days a a highly paid pin-up model for Perkins! :rotfl2: )

Anyway...Bee and Grumpster have an awesome family with two girls who kept us smiling! If this is a sample of how awesome life could be in January with a 5K hike ...I am in!:cutie:

Well the house is quiet for the moment so I thought I'd post my bio. I had such a GREAT time reading all of yours. I feel like I know you already. Anyway, on with the show....
What do I love? I love movies, especially Lord of the Rings. ( I am secretly in love with Viggo Mortensen.) I love taking pictures, but not real good at getting them into scrapbooks, except the Disney ones. I love to save everything from our trips and take pics of everything, our food, signs, potties. (yes I took a pic of the potty in the lobby at Riverside. It was cool.) I love Walt Disney World. We try to go at least twice a year. We are in a long dry spell now. :guilty: I know it's strange but I love keeping house. I could totally see myself like Donna Reed or Martha Stewart. I like things to be pretty and in order. Well, that's me. I don't have a pic, but later I'll get DH to help me post a link to our video on YouTube. Be prepared to squirt some tears!
~Lynn~

Loved your bio. I am an avid reader too. I love Christian fiction - Ted Dekker (who's movie Three, was very good!), Francine Rivers, and Bodie and Brock Thoene. I also love Lord of the Rings and Viggo is my fave! Right up there with Capt. Jack!

Stacey, Sorry you are feeling cruddy! Hey, I went to MOA today and I went to the Disney store and I bought a POOH-BEE and an EEYORE with wings!! Now I HAVE YOU AND ME!!
I will check in later!!

I am jealous that you got to go to the Disney Store! Ours closed down a few years ago. Thanks, I am feeling better tonight. Still working on the cruise thing. Spring 08 or fall 08 :confused3 just not sure which to do. I am going to call you with all my questions!

And now here it is.... Our Disney trips 2006. Please note my picture with Off Kilter near the end. (My second secret love...don't tell Viggo.) and Emily in her opening the Animal Kingdom cast member shirt. We got to hold the rope that holds the people back from getting to the Safari and we were in the first truck. I've never been so scared of being trampled, but we did get to hear the whole little thing that Minnie, Goofy and Pluto did on the truck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubYGsKxIw0o
Ok maybe you won't squirt tears, but I always do.
~Lynn~

Loved the video. I did get a little misty eyed! I miss it.

The children's author? I didn't know he wrote naughty adult books too! Gotta re-read Bridge to Teribithia before the movie comes out.

Read Bridge to Teribithia with a hanky!

Wow, you are such a wealth of information. :teacher: How come you are able to post websites? Whenever I try, all I get are *******. :confused3

I don't know, what kind of websites are you trying to post...maybe the porn site with the pic of me and my dole whip that someone stole out of my photobucket account? How do you set photobucket to private??? I couldn't figure it out.

Danielle! DH and I loved the X-files and I think Carl Hiassen is a riot! I should have had your DH talk to me today (I had 4 Doughnuts :faint:!)

Around here we know that if you eat Krispy Kreme donuts while they are still hot, they have no fat and no calories!

I really need a nice place for us to eat at on 5/6. ANy suggestions. Also who have you guys gone through to ge tstuff sent to the room. We are celebrating our 13th :cool1: As far as it goes--I am 30 when I turn 40 my oldest son will be turning ahm 23 :rolleyes1 DD 20 and DS 12

Maybe you should try Coral Reef or California Grill - both of these are on my list for next time. You could always give Boma another shot.

Fidge - You are such a cutie! I love the pic with the 18 hour! I had the same problem at WDW except both sagged at the same time! I kept asking my DD if I was drooping. More eye rolling! But I am drooping in several pics! I bought a new bra when I got home - much better. But bras are like good friends, once you break them in and get used to them, you really don't want to give it up!

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. My hip was hurting very badly tonight. When I got up to teach my section of the service tonight, towards the end of my lesson I broke out in a sweat and my stomach clinched up and I felt like my hip was going to go out. I kind of had one of those "where am I moments". Very weird! But everything else went well.

I added two installments to my dining review today.

DD and I had to have a heart to heart about the diet plan. She wants to lose weight, but this is more work than she thought! We decided that for every 10 pounds we lose, we are going shopping. I have not been drinking as much water the last couple of days - too hard to get up and down. And exercise has been impossible since I can barely walk. I am praying that the doctor will figure out what is wrong on Monday.

Okay, I have got to work on my Jr. High lesson for tomorrow.

Good night, Peeps!

That reminds me,does anyone have any suggestions for a good bra that would put my :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc where God intended them to be??They are not that big but they look like two deflated balloons.I think that is where my 14 1/2 lbs loss has come from.:sad1:
I've only just realised what :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc meant, hilarious!!! And talking of those I'm so glad we stopped at 2 kids as my ample bust expanded by a cup size after each one ahhhh, not that DH is complaining. :rotfl2:

dance2874 - :welcome: and to all the other newbies.

Oh I just did mine yesterday, go to account options in top RH corner, then go to edit my albulm settings then where it says my albulm is click and choose private. It's quite easy as I managed it. :rotfl:

Around here we know that if you eat Krispy Kreme donuts while they are still hot, they have no fat and no calories!
We've just got these over in the UK and OMG they are so delicious, when the store first opened, about 2 years ago so don't flame me, they had a deal where if you bought 12 assorted you got 12 glazed ring ones free, how can you turn down an offer like that. You guys have much nicer goodies in the States with the exception of our Cadbury's.

Well I've had a nice lie in this morning as we don't have to dash to church, DD's are in the choir, as we have our Christingle service today and it's not until 4pm. Do you have Christingle with the orange with a candle in and little sweeties (which luckily I don't like!) on cocktail sticks?

GOOD SUNDAY TO ALL!!! :sunny:

Tomorrow it will be 4 years since my dad passed away, so I'm very happy that DH and DD can carry on the tradition.
Ya'll should be proud of me today! I went to Food Lion and managed to resist buying Oreos. The were buy one get one free.
I cannot resist a good deal like that. WAY TO GO, SLATE!!!
On Monday I'm taking DD(11)n and DD(13) to Bibbidi bobbidi Boutique.
Pixie....have your girls done BBB before? My DD13 wanted to go last time but we didn't have time. Do you see all ages in there? DD 17 was all  when we mentioned it.
tomorrow I am trying hummus for the very firstest time ever...I'm scared.:sad1:
Do not fear....it's just garlicky bean dip. I try to stay away from it because I don't know when to quit.
Just because I can use my points for chocolate doesnt mean it is the best way to spend them:lmao:
It's not??? :confused3
:welcome: Dance!!! Does that number in your username directly correspond to your birthday? Is it Feb. 8th? A lot of peep bios start on page 94. Your daughter is adorable. I so miss the little pink sundresses and hairbows. My girls at 17 and 13 now and they won't wear hairbows anymore?!? :confused3
If this is a sample of how awesome life could be in January with a 5K hike ...I am in!:cutie:
:thumbsup2 Very cool that you, Bee, and Grumpy got to know each other.
Around here we know that if you eat Krispy Kreme donuts while they are still hot, they have no fat and no calories!
Is that why they taste so light? :)
My hip was hurting very badly tonight. When I got up to teach my section of the service tonight, towards the end of my lesson I broke out in a sweat and my stomach clinched up and I felt like my hip was going to go out.
Stacey....this sounds very scary!!! Is there anyone who can cover for you til the pain has subsided? Prayers for wisdom for the doctor and good answers for you.

Glad you got to lie in. Christingle? :confused3 I have never heard of this?

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!!!

Are you being cheeky because you know I always get up at the crack of dawn.

Yeah I can actually post a link for you Melinda, see I can be clever too. :rotfl2:
What a Christingle is! It is a really sweet service and as candles and sweets are involved of course all the children love it too.

Well my roast chicken and potatoes are in the oven, not really healthy I know, but us Brits have to have our Sunday roast. :rotfl2: We will be having 4 types of veg though so that's good. :thumbsup2

crack of dawn
 That's a good one, Jo. Yes...you get up at the crack of dawn....in America!

Sounds jolly good! It's a wonder it hasn't made it's way over here. We love holidays, ya know! The site says it usually takes place between Advent and Epiphany...can you celebrate anytime in January? :confused3

You're getting to know me too well. :lmao:

We've even celebrated in February before and I know of other Churches who celebrated in December so I think it is one of those rare occasions which is flexible. We also are all given several weeks in advance a cardboard candle to collect money in which goes to the childrens society so it's all good. :thumbsup2 Did you read what all the bit's represent? Candle is Jesus, Orange is the world etc, quite interesting really and I'm surprised you don't have it too.

See this is an educational thread too. :rotfl:

We've never been. I asked my girls if they wanted to go after reading a thread about how all ages go...Oh was that a mean thread... some adults were posting that they have gone with their daughters and others were getting all over them about it. The thread actually got shut down!

ANyway after I read that older girls go there, I asked DDs my 11 an 13 year olds girls wanted to go, but 15 year old said she'd give it a pass, although she was torn about it. She'll be there with her HS band on our next trip and I think she's afraid someone she knows will see her!
