L: Kashi coconut lemongrass chicken (300)

How was it?

I'm washing Norah's new CHEAP Walmart Disney Princess sheets. Threadcount 50. They're like cheesecloth.

Don't know why they insist on making cute kid sheet sets on such yucky fabrics... :confused3

I made teh fatal mistake of getting a diet COKE at Walmart just now. I'm jittery.

That's why I don't drink sodas... soda jitters do not equal skinny vibes for me. :goodvibes

Has anyone tried the WW frozen desserts? I like them all, but my favorite is the chocolate cake! It is dance naked in the rain good!

If it is also capable of temporarily blinding everyone within a 5 mile radius, I might have to try that little dance inspiring dessert.

The Key Lime Pie is Captain Jack GOOOOOD! pirate: :cloud9:

Mmmmmmmmmmmm... the Cap'n pirate:

Love your "buggy" and "holler" quotes. I'm from a small town and always used those. Sadly nobody here used those words so haven't heard them in a while. (have lived here 25 years.)Also "yonder" is one of my favorites. ;) Would love to hear you say it with the Carolina accent which I adore.

Confession... been to college prolly 8 years worth and I say fixin' to, ain't, y'all, holler, and yonder.

He may be cute but have you guys heard him speak yet? The DD's rabbits are more intelligent. :rotfl2:

"Shut up honey, just stand there and look fabulous". :rolleyes1

Sorry I have been offline. After lunch, I got really sick. Migraine, hip pain, nausea, vomiting! I feel better today - but not great. Trying to pull it together for youth service tonight. Keep praying!

 and medicated pixiedust:

5) Stick to the plan on weekends. (Killer again! I've already missed up today with an extra muffin my son didn't want.(Fatfree but nevertheless...) Why couldn't I throw it away?)

Because there are starving children in India, China, and Darfur... and we MUST eat everything on our plates... least that is what I was taught.

today I went to a buff gym...adn I worked out with buff people and I did ok...had a really good workout on elleiptical with dismom and then we did a yogatype class...was great, my shirt was soaked and eeewww how gross of course my fat rolls were visible from the sweat lines across the belly..but I went and achieved and wont be able to get seated comfortably for a few days...legs are jello

Yoga with the buffs! :scared: Hats off to you! :worship: :worship:

Just walked around the block with the family (1.7 miles in 40 minutes) Not great, but they do have short legs. And hey, I did something. Yeah me!

Welcome and yes, Yeah you!... that's a loooong block.

So at Walmart Dh is putting cheese doodles, brownies, twinkees and chips! I wanted to just cry! SO I told him I had to look at something and be back. I went to the gym equipment section got a pedometer and bought soem fabric for DS bedroom and will make some new pillows.

Looking at all the exercise stuff and images got me refocused. Can you beleive they didn't have a virtual model to save me!! I did get back on track till the goodie back eposide!!

Way to go! That was a great idea!

Dene....I just noticed you are from Fort Worth-ish area. DD and I were there a couple years ago to work at Mission Arlington for a week. Loved it! Went to a Fort Worth Cats game on July 4th and also went to Six Flags. Lotsa fun there!

Well the house is quiet for the moment so I thought I'd post my bio. I had such a GREAT time reading all of yours. I feel like I know you already. Anyway, on with the show....
I'm Lynn. (Hi Lynn!) I'm 39 (Yes, really:). I've been married to my college sweetheart for 15 years and we have two children, Emily (10) and Jake (13). Just an aside here.... one should not have to turn 40 and have their oldest turn 13 in the same year. It's just not right. We live in a little house in a little suburb right in the middle of South Carolina. I lived in SC all my life. DH is a police officer which means wierd hours, but he is good at it and I couldn't imagine him doing anything else....until we retire in 9 years. Like I said I work in a bookstore three days a week, also help run the church library and volunteer in the library at my daughter's school. When I get to heaven I know what my job will be. I love books. The best part of my job is having to read things for work. (I'm so sorry, honey, I know you need supper, but I've got to read this for work.;) ) Right now I'm reading No.1 Ladies Detective Agency. Good so far.
What do I love? I love movies, especially Lord of the Rings. ( I am secretly in love with Viggo Mortensen.) I love taking pictures, but not real good at getting them into scrapbooks, except the Disney ones. I love to save everything from our trips and take pics of everything, our food, signs, potties. (yes I took a pic of the potty in the lobby at Riverside. It was cool.) I love Walt Disney World. We try to go at least twice a year. We are in a long dry spell now. :guilty: I know it's strange but I love keeping house. I could totally see myself like Donna Reed or Martha Stewart. I like things to be pretty and in order. I love my hubby and my kids. Noboby is as wierd as we are when we are together. (Does that make sense?) Now that they are teen and preteen, we are having so much fun together. We have Star wars movie marathons or Ninja stick wars. We all love to play. And WDW is so special, because away from the cell phone and beeper and homework and housework, we can go and truly play together.
Well, that's me. I don't have a pic, but later I'll get DH to help me post a link to our video on YouTube. Be prepared to squirt some tears!
~Lynn~

One should NOT be facing one's 40th birthday with one's DS turning 18 this year. Shizzle for Rizzle!

VERY nice to meet you Lynn! Welcome!!!!

I KNOW!!! ME, TOO!!! Sorry girls...you can have Johnny....I love Viggo! And your name is Melinda?? I just like you better all the time. I loved your video and your picture with the Men in Skirts. That singer is hot!

I don't know if I'm willing to share Viggo and Off Kilter with you.......;) Well, Maybe. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I listen to their live cd on the way to work every morning. A Walk on the Moon was on this morning. Oh My!

Fidge and Lynn, you are both so lovely!

UM-did you see Lynn's picture by the lamppost in Narnia? Could it be we have another Narnia nerd in our group?

DH and DD are going to the Father-Daughter dance at her school tonight (she goes to an all-girl school). They invited me to join them going out to dinner, but I said the two of them should have some one-on-one time. That saves me a few calories, and gives me some time alone in the house (something I very rarely get). DD had me color her hair brown today. It looks great. DH has brown hair, but the rest of us have always been blonde (well, except the short stint I did as a redhead. DH and I were big X-Files fans, and, you know ;) ).

I made hotel reservations for our trip to see The Who in Reno. DH is so good. I was down to 2 choices, and one included the dinner buffet. He said, "That's not what you want, is it?" There's still a part of me that does want that; that wants to pig out on vacation, but he reminded me of the part that wants to look smokin' hot when we hit the dance floor, jacuzzi, or sheets (sorry if that last one is TMI).

I'm reading a Carl Hiassen book I bought DH for Christmas. It's hilarious. Some might find his sense of humor offensive, but not me!

The children's author? I didn't know he wrote naughty adult books too! Gotta re-read Bridge to Teribithia before the movie comes out.

Thank God he put that nut iom my life, no one would ever get my jokes..the man is not right!!!

I must say this is why I have been corked!! This explains A LOT. While reading about everyones colon blows I realized that I had not had one since Tuesday:scared1: Usually I am like clockwork. Oh--I just remembered I have been drinking mass quanities of water. Blows that theory. Oh well---hopefully Elvis will leave soon.

Just keep the water flowing and the exercise going and everything should come out alright.;) :rotfl: :rotfl2:

For menus and points for WW etc... Dotties Weight Loss Zone is a great place - http://www.dwlz.com/WWinfoTOC.html I think there is a recipe link too...

Yes Harley, and do that sqaut with 10# weight!! (*cough overachiever*cough)

Lynn and Bee I think 50 and 13 DD is much worse... :rolleyes1 but since I no longer count my birthdays... :rolleyes1

Wow, you are such a wealth of information. :teacher: How come you are able to post websites? Whenever I try, all I get are *******. :confused3

Ok, next year I will be 40 and DS will be 15 and learning to drive a car! :scared1: :confused3 There is really something NOT RIGHT with that! :scared1:

Ok here we are at the end of my first official Peep Day! I had my afternoon snack (Yogurt) and for supper a big garden salad with a little grilled chicken. Now we are moving into dangerous territory. I'll have another snack right before seven, but tonight is DH and my movie night and we usually split a microwave Kettle Korn :scared1: and I know I'm really gonna want it and I can't even eat anything during the movie. Man, was that enough of a whine or what? I'm gonna try hard to resist. Send good thoughts my way. Thanks Peeps!
And now here it is.... Our Disney trips 2006. Please note my picture with Off Kilter near the end. (My second secret love...don't tell Viggo.) and Emily in her opening the Animal Kingdom cast member shirt. We got to hold the rope that holds the people back from getting to the Safari and we were in the first truck. I've never been so scared of being trampled, but we did get to hear the whole little thing that Minnie, Goofy and Pluto did on the truck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubYGsKxIw0o
Ok maybe you won't squirt tears, but I always do.
~Lynn~

Lynn - It came very close. I felt the "lump" in my throat. Loved the pic of DS in front of the Pleasure Island sign. He didn't look pleasurable. :rotfl: I am also jealous. Did y'all go 3 times last year? Can you adopt me? ;) :rotfl:

Yes. If you read Hoot then you know he's kind of twisted, has really bad things happen to bad people. In one of his grown-up books (because saying adult books seems so, well, unseemly), a super-creepy bad guy gets thrown into a dolphin pool at a Sea World type place with an amorous male dolphin. The results are not pleasant, to say the least.

Awweeee Danielle that is just too sweet Father daughter night I am so tickled by that it makes my heart smile thanks! What a lvoely memory for them to share!!

Thanks. One of my most treasured possessions is my pictures from the father daughter dances my dad and I went to (I went to the same high school DD does). Tomorrow it will be 4 years since my dad passed away, so I'm very happy that DH and DD can carry on the tradition.

You are good but thats them scrubbing bubbles................heres my comparision to the width of a TV unit!! Plase note it seems my 18 hour playtex brasserie may have expired on the right side by 3 hours instead of the 2 hours on the left side!!
