:welcome: JnEsWDWMom.....you're gonna have to give me another name...that one's hard to type. You'll love it here so make yourself at home. Not many folks on the thread on Saturdays so it's kinda quiet.

Lots of bios on the peeps starting on page 94. We'd like to know about you too if you'd care to share.

Let me know your birthday so I can put it on the calendar.

Not much time to talk. I'm actually off the dance competition now. Just didn't want you to think you were a thread killer!

:cheer2: Welcome JnesLynn!!! we have a pretty good thing going with our peeps...what we need you to do is post a bio - ya know tell us a little more about yourself and post a pic of you in a bikini:cutie: then we'll critique you and let you know what needs help....nah jk, we wont critique...and you'll find just what you need somewhere on these pages, but if not then just ask...we are a plethera of useless knowledge!

Jump on Board our Skinnie wagon is makin another lap!!!:yay:

I'm back from our walk and I have Welcomes!! Thanks, Harley and Melinda! I'm a Melinda, too, but my family calls me Lynn. At work I'm Mel. Going back to page 93 to check out the bios to see how many of my dirty little secrets you want to know.:) No bikinis, Please. That's an image you do not want burned into your brain. And believe me, it burns.
So far today
Breakfast- weight loss oatmeal and 1/2 banana
Snack- Apple and peanut butter
Lunch- chicken and tomato wrap and those hateful two muffins.
Just walked around the block with the family (1.7 miles in 40 minutes) Not great, but they do have short legs. And hey, I did something. Yeah me! Weekeneds are so bad because someone is always eating and I want to join them!
Good luck with selling your bike, Harley! Thanks again for the welcomes!
~Lynn~

:cheer2: Harley! Sending pixiedust: for selling your motorcycle. My, you have had a busy, brave, getting skinny day!!!

Unlike me. Shopping last night wore me out. I slept 'til noon, then ran a couple loads of dishes and have been reading a book. I have a haircut later this afternoon and am running some errands after that to get stuff for my Grandma's 100th birthday party tomorrow.

Welcome, Lynn! I am relatively new here too. Lurked for a while before starting on Weight Watchers at Work. This is a fun, encouraging place to be.

Can I come out and play? I started reading this thread and actually got all the way to page 72, but I've just got to join! I need all the help I can get! I need to lose 25 pounds before our trip on June 8. (10 days long, yeah baby!) I need accountability. I'm surrounded by people (mostly at work) who are constantly tempting me. (Doesn't help that I work in a bookstore with a coffee and sweet shop.) Here is my plan:
1) 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night on the treadmill (Love the treadmill, no problems with this, just finding Childfree time.)
2) 5-6 small meals a day
3) Try to add more veggies
4) No eating after 7PM (this is the killer. It's almost as if after the kids are in bed, I have to eat!!)
5) Stick to the plan on weekends. (Killer again! I've already missed up today with an extra muffin my son didn't want.(Fatfree but nevertheless...) Why couldn't I throw it away?)
I need to plan.
I need to focus.
I need encouragement.
If you guys can give me that, I know I can give it right back! Can I be a Peep? Please, oh please.
~Lynn~

Welcome to the peeps Lynn!

Welcome, Lynn! Glad you are joining us.

I was finally able to post another dining installment. About to head out to the youth event. Catch ya'll later.

Utah - I believe you are on to something here, altho I have to say it has been a problem for me this increase in fiber, has me all off schedule. seems like I cant do colon blow everyday and also it has a um, er 2 day turn around. I do believe that my weigh in woulda been better had I not been struggling with this little problem...

Harley
- Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and exercising. If you don't, all that fiber will act like a cork. ;)

Totals for today...

B: oatmeal & yogurt smoothie (220)
S: 2 honey wheat crackers & a cojack cheese square (65)
L: Kashi coconut lemongrass chicken (300)
S: 2 honey wheat crackers (25)
D: Papa Murphy's cheese DeLite pizza (700)

TOTAL: 1310 calories & about 90 oz. of water

Lynda - How did you like the coconut lemongrass chicken? Do I just have defective taste buds? :confused3 :rotfl:

Hi - I am a newer member who is recently finding herself typing away! This is a blessing for me to find so many caring, considerate people and I just feel blessed. I am wanting to lose 100 pounds over the next year or so but 2 specific goals in particular.

#1 Lose 50 pounds before June 1 :thumbsup2

#2 Lose another 40 before our trip in Dec. :thumbsup2

I have stuggled fighting the munchie monster and have started establishing major changes. Mostly will follow the WW plan but will limit all my carbs to whole grain carbs. I need your support and guidance! I need to do this for my health and my sanity.

My last request is in part do to an awesome woman known to you as Bee! :wizard:

She told me about you all and suggested I find support through this site for my other dillema she read on another post.

Please know I have a site posted on the Disney Trip Reports site under Upcomming Trips. ( It's a sub-thread on the top of the trip report page ) It is titled "Miracle on Main Street" and is on the 1st page.
I won't bore you with the details but you will laugh and maybe even cry. It is self-explanatory why I need your help...it will only take a moment but it means the world to me.:grouphug:

Thanks in advance for your response!

:welcome: to our party: DizneyDawn! I do WW too! There are several of us on the thread that do. WE are here to help you any way we can. Just ask!:hyper2:

Bee and notsoGrumpythreadhunkdude are wonderful people! Any friend of theirs is a friend of ours!:thumbsup2

I made it... now off to bed!!

Glad to know you made it safely! :car:

Just talked with my cousin/sister - and she's also struggling with weight issues, I read her UTM TMI post!! (*grin!) and told her about the ... pooh: muffins, and of course I've never saved the recipe... :rolleyes1

Has anyone copied and pasted it into a word document, or can repaste it for me??? :worship: please? With splenda on top???

Check your PM's I sent it to you along with the CB!

Sorry I have been offline. After lunch, I got really sick. Migraine, hip pain, nausea, vomiting! I feel better today - but not great. Trying to pull it together for youth service tonight. Keep praying!

Praying that you feel better before all those teens come over. Who knows what they might do to your house if you can't be up to ::cop: them. ;) If they are like our teens, your house will be fine. :thumbsup2

Be Strong Harley! Picture me sitting right beside you watching everything you put in your mouth! :rotfl: :rotfl2: Do you want me to report to the peeps what you are munching on? I don't think so. J/K Get you a big glass of water, and that will make your tummy feel full so you won't snack. :thumbsup2

Well the house is quiet for the moment so I thought I'd post my bio. I had such a GREAT time reading all of yours. I feel like I know you already. Anyway, on with the show....
I'm Lynn. (Hi Lynn!) I'm 39 (Yes, really:). I've been married to my college sweetheart for 15 years and we have two children, Emily (10) and Jake (13). Just an aside here.... one should not have to turn 40 and have their oldest turn 13 in the same year. It's just not right. We live in a little house in a little suburb right in the middle of South Carolina. I lived in SC all my life. DH is a police officer which means wierd hours, but he is good at it and I couldn't imagine him doing anything else....until we retire in 9 years. Like I said I work in a bookstore three days a week, also help run the church library and volunteer in the library at my daughter's school. When I get to heaven I know what my job will be. I love books. The best part of my job is having to read things for work. (I'm so sorry, honey, I know you need supper, but I've got to read this for work.;) ) Right now I'm reading No.1 Ladies Detective Agency. Good so far.
What do I love? I love movies, especially Lord of the Rings. ( I am secretly in love with Viggo Mortensen.) I love taking pictures, but not real good at getting them into scrapbooks, except the Disney ones. I love to save everything from our trips and take pics of everything, our food, signs, potties. (yes I took a pic of the potty in the lobby at Riverside. It was cool.) I love Walt Disney World. We try to go at least twice a year. We are in a long dry spell now. :guilty: I know it's strange but I love keeping house. I could totally see myself like Donna Reed or Martha Stewart. I like things to be pretty and in order. I love my hubby and my kids. Noboby is as wierd as we are when we are together. (Does that make sense?) Now that they are teen and preteen, we are having so much fun together. We have Star wars movie marathons or Ninja stick wars. We all love to play. And WDW is so special, because away from the cell phone and beeper and homework and housework, we can go and truly play together.
Well, that's me. I don't have a pic, but later I'll get DH to help me post a link to our video on YouTube. Be prepared to squirt some tears!
~Lynn~

Step Away from the Snacks! (Picture this with my DH's whistle and bullhorn.) Clean for 15 minutes and read for 15 minutes. Decide what bothers you the most and start with that. Reward yourself with the reading, but not the snack. I'm thinking of you.
