Wait - you mean your dhs' dont do laundry or dishes???? Do NOT tell this to my dh!!! (yes, he does dishes, every single night, he has now conned dd into helping him!!! he only does laundry when I cant make it- he does his own workout clothes, thank you ver much!!!

I love to see other people posting their totals too. Makes me feel like I am not in it alone, and posting it makes me feel accountable. I also figure someone might spot something they were interested in trying. That is one of the many great things about this thread. There are so many great ideas to try on here!

are you ready, hre it is...I rode my bike 3 mi...i dont know how long it took cause I forgot to look, but DS9 went with,he is in much better shpe than me and DDog Buster ran the whole entire way...so I took it slow for his sake , bless his little heart...off to skatepark, cause I promised it in return for bike ride...

Hey Peeps Happy Sat to ya! I did something good for me today...I took the $$ I got for my birthday that I was saving for new clothes, and bought me a bicycle, not the motor powered kind like I'm used to riding, but a sweet little mountain bike...NOW I can use my own motor ( it has 190 lbs of horsepower) and make it go far and see cool things like road kill up close and personal! (we have an armadillo & posum epidemic around here)

anyhoo - I decided that $$ was just gonna sit the gathering dust cause at the rae I am going it's gonna bea while til I need smaller clothers, shucks the ones I've got right now are popping sausage tight... its gonna take time, might as well get something out of it! I got a cutesy pink bike, if they'dve had a lime green one I'da got it tho...skinnyminnie likes pink doesn't she?

So one DS and DH are headed to the woods to do some hunting, other DS is begging to go to the skateboardpark... and I am getting ready to go crop tonite!! I can't wait! YAY!!! goin for a bike ride now! later peeps!

OMG Dene - I totally freak out about my babies - 4 legged ones that is..have spent way to much money at the vet, more than normal people I believe...ut my babies are worth it...hope she's okay! do keep us informed!

Thanks for all the well wishes for my furbaby... according to the tests and x-ray it looks like she has a bladder infection. No problem getting a urine sample while at the vet... she peed 5 times while we were there. It cost $158... guess I'll have to put off that dog stroller for a little while.

Don't know about everybody else, but I've been busy trying to get healthy. Went to the Y with DD19 to meet the trainer. He took us through the weight machines for a full round then we did another on our own. Went to Subway and got a 6" turkey sub with LOTS of veggies and some ice water. Later went BACK to the Y for cardio... 75 minutes on the treadmill.

Being relieved about the pup the endorphins went into overdrive.

And the best part about exercising today... you enter your weight on the treadmill and it tells you how many calories you've burned. Today's trip down treadmill lane burned 628 calories!

Furbaby Dene, good thing the vet was there for you!! Now that you did that total body workout, and Cardio, dont you just want to hop on the scale and see like 2# gone!! or is it just me???

WTG Harley - you look mahvelous!! Awesome having the kiddies help us out. My kiddie helped by carrying the laundry to the car!!

Time to shower, then groceries, or shoe shopping.. and then we must say goodbye to our 2 DS - as they once again trudge down to Univ of IL (and we'll make sure to say HI to Lynda on the way!!! )

Now that you did that total body workout, and Cardio, dont you just want to hop on the scale and see like 2# gone!! or is it just me???

That's why I will only let myself weigh once a week... Otherwise, I weigh before and after a workout... when I get up in the middle of the night... before and after work... before and after I pee (1 gallon of water weighs over 8 lbs.)

I'm baaacckkkk!

I was really good at lunch. I had crab legs and lobster again (about 500 cals for both meats) a salad and the broccolli. I stayed away from the biscuits but did have 2 bites of DH's shrimp alfredo and a few swallows of soda (not diet.) We skipped dessert so I didn't have any temptation there.

I got my LGMH started but my ZIG pen stopped writing on them so I have to find a fine point sharpie to finish them. I have 8 so far, 5 have my screen name and DISboards.com on them. I'm going to add "Official Focker Watcher '07" to the ears. I'm not sure what I'm doing with the other 3. Dh is kind of embarassed by the whole thing and he's getting crabby that we'll be spending our week looking for LGMH. I told him it's like a hidden Mickey hunt.

I got a text message from StaceyPoppins. They were tired from driving all night but are having a blast. She said it's really busy and POP is crowded. They really enjoyed EE though. She said to say 'Hey!' to all the peeps and she'd try to get on a post tomorrow.

Dene~ I'm glad your dog's going to be ok.

UM~ Ooohhhh ssexy new hair! I'm loving the idea of a bit of pampering when we reach certian goals.

Sandy~ Hope you had a good trip getting the boys back to chool.

Harley~ Enjoy the crop tonight. WTG on thee bike and using it right away. I used to love to ride my bike but haven't had one in years.

Lynda~ Hope you're maintaining your newfound good habits. I have a VMK question for you: I read something about making a character while in the parks... I'm assuming the best place to do it is at Epcot but how do I go about doing it? I signed up to play a few weeks ago but wanted to wait to actully make my character and play until I got down there.

I really hate when Dh takes over the remote. We can't watch just one thng. He's flipping channels and as soon as I get into something, he changes it again. He's been watching a bit of the Dolts/Ravens game and he's yelling at teh TV. We are NOT Dolts fans and have really strong feelings against them so he's cussing all the Raven's mistakes.... He really turns into a different man when he's watching FB.......
