are the WISH ribbons how much you have lost or your goal? I was going to add one but I cant figure it out.

you can also getcha some bling by clicking on someone elses bling that you like and it'll take you to where you can create your own...

Hi everyone! COUNT ME IN! First a little about me: I'm 26, a graduate student in speech language pathology, single and looking, no kids.

I actually stumbled across this thread while perusing UM's trip report (fabulous by the way), but didn't get a chance to read through it til now. I started WW (at home and online) last Tuesday, but Wednesday's are my "weigh days". This isn't my first go round with WW though. Did it the first time in high school and made goal, but gained it all back throughout college, and then even more in the past few years. I've tried to go back on WW many times in between but it never stuck. Guess I really wasn't ready.

I have some serious bingeing issues to contain with - so much so that I have actually looked into eating disorder sites to see if I may actually have one. Hard to tell. But for the first time in a long time I've made it this many days (including a weekend) without a binge and counted the points for everything I put in my mouth. The two kickers that made me get serious were when I saw a video of myself and when I booked a cruise for April. I want to be confident in that bathing suit and right now I am not! Also, since I'm in grad school at night and doing my clinical rotation 3 days a week, I have a hard time fitting in exercise, but I'm really trying to figure out a schedule so I can at least get 3-4 days in a week, which is better than 0 right?

Oh, and I'm going to WDW this weekend. Leaving Friday afternoon for the Pirate and Princess Party, spending all day Saturday at the MK, and leaving Sunday late morning. I've given myself permission to eat whatever it is I want but I will try to limit it a little.

Some of my goals:
1) Exercise! Any activity other than walking to the fridge is great!
2) Drink all of my water!
3) Overall weight goal is not definite - at least 50 lbs. I think
4) Stop stress and boredom binges

I'm really excited about joining your little club! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Drive yourself to your local supermarket, or better yet one in the next county, find the produce department and locate the produce scale. If it's too high position your cart underneath the scale, and then climb inside the cart. Place one or both "girls" on the scale and voila! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Mine's the amount lost.

Oh the horror!!!! You want me to measure my waist and not lie about the result?:rotfl2: We would still find some strange way like measure your waist, subtract 10 then add your # of pregnancies then divide by 4!

:rotfl2:

I put 2 T. flax seed meal on my oatmeal every morning. It is also good sprinkled over cold cereal.

I saw "milled" at the store today. I didn't buy it because I wasn't sure if that was the right stuff. Is it???:confused3

Fidge... please post often... ;) I think you know why... :rolleyes1

Ahhh its too see Donald, Stich or Darth Vader right????;)[/QUOTE]

EGGGGGGsagtically :thumbsup2

Gave up on costco -too many people out today!
I tried making bran muffins w/bran buds recipe I got from WW. They taste ok but the texture is awful!

Our Costco in Fort Worth was full to the gills :fish: I bought bunches of fruits, veggies, and fish. Oh, yeah... and new socks for workouts to go with the new shoes I got somewhere called the Shoe Pavilion (a lot like DSW).:yay:

Yikes! I am in sticker shock over the good scales. My little IKEA one says not to be used for trade which makes me think it isnt accurate but I only paid 5.00 for it! The ones I see are $50-90.oo each.Well, my wallet will be lighter anyway.

Specially if you usually carry silver dollars instead of bills.

Plus, women have more... uh... curves than men... it isn't just our waists we have to measure. At times in my life, I've been known to wear one size up top, another in pants, and another in a dress... all depends on the cut or what you are currently trying to camoflage. :rolleyes1

Byt the way, :welcome: to the newest peeps! :dance3:

OMGosh! I am working on the photos again, and I found these!:scared1:

Freshman year (1988)

Sophmore year (1989) I had lost some weight the summer between these two school years.

So, see! I had both the dark rimmed glasses and the bangs! Wow! :rotfl:

I think maybe I worded it wrong. I know how to add but I cant tell what they mean. If I pick 70 lbs which os what I need to lose is that right or do I pick 2lbs sice that is all I have lost so far?

Also, thanks to the folks who gave me tips on flax seed. Does it taste bad? Like will it ruin my oatmeal?

I am buying some Krusteaz mix tomorrow!

Who knoew I would gather so much info in one day!

You guys are great!!

Hi peeps Sorry been really busy the last two days. only maintianed this week and I got my flax seed today. Keep on slimming.

UM THE ARE IN!!!!!

Thanks SOOO much for the warm welcome! It really means alot to me! :goodvibes I am having a hard time convincing myself to go through with the commitment to losing weight. I'm sure you all understand. It's no little thing. It means changing your whole way of life. I have used food as an anti-depressant for so many years, I don't know if I can change my bad habits! :confused3

Now that things are looking up for us as a family, I keep telling myself NOW is the time to work on ME! It's been several years since we've had a 'positive' start to a new year, and I don't want to blow the chance to do something about my weight. But, I just LOVE my food! I hope I can do it, and with your support, maybe I can!

Thanks again! :grouphug:

-Michelle

P.S. and thank you for reading my TR - it's proof enough of how much I love food! Chocolate for breakfast! LOL! I've GOT to do better... sigh...
I have said it before and I will say it again...You can do eeeet...you can do eeet allll night lonnnnnnngggggggg:thumbsup2

Be careful of the NThings!!!!
That brought up another thought. Ya know the bed bath and beyond store.....what is in the beyond dept ????

Wish ribbons have traditionally been for the amount of weight you have lost. I have just listed the pounds I have lost since I started the board but from my largest I have lost 221.5 pounds

take all of the measurements (waist, bust, inseam then divide by 20?)too much math :teacher: I will stick with the inch method.

Welcome Wonders10 great group here. Just take baby steps and everything will be greatttttttt :yay:

Winkers I tried that for the boys    but the produce guy kicked me out. Apparently they don't consider the boys produce. My dad will be soooooo disappointed :sad2: :sad2:

The mystery gift giver will be revealed too (S'not me!) I'm just the address getter. I need a couple more. AlDisneyGrl, Fidge? PM me if your interested. No, I'm not a stalker, nor a weirdo, nor an identity thief, etc.

:lmao: Hey I just snorted my coke on that one!:rotfl2:
OMG!!! Not how I meant that to sound. I mean I laughed and cola came out my nose.
Actually not sure that sounds better than before ew...

How funny! I'm so dingy, it didnt occur to me till you explained yourself!

CRAP, it's too late for a snack!!!!

Totals for today...

B: oatmeal & yogurt (220)
L: salad w/salmon, gorgonzola crumbles, almond slices & craisins, hummus & black bean tortilla chips (500)
S: 2 WW carrot cakes (160)
D: Papa Murphy's cheese DeLite pizza (700)

TOTAL for today: 1580 calories

I didn't do so well on water today. I guess just because I have been busy. Got my hair cut and colored, went grocery shopping & working on photo storage site...again. But I have gotten 48 oz. down. I would say that I will try to drink more, but I am falling asleep at the computer, so maybe not.
