Thank you@ not trying to be down.. just was pointing out, if I only lose 2 lbs a week then it will take me about 2 yrs to lose the weight. That seems like a very looooong time... But, thanks for the support.. I love you!!

I'm always in a hurry too. But I figure the last time I was at the proper weight for my height was 25 years ago. It took we 25 years to get this big, so as much as want to shed the weight FAST, if it takes 2 years that's alot faster coming off than it was puttin on!

Here Ye Here Ye - Here is ye's info on the 2008 5K - they now have a clicker button to register, but dont have the registration form up, but "check back often"

also - requirements - keep a 15 min per mile pace, if you fall behind pace they will pick you up and escort youto the finish...but none of us are gonna do that, cause we'll be doing it together!!! okay Peeps, 15 min mile or better for 3.1 miles is our goal!!!:cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

Don't hate me though ladies I do have an advantage. Men tend to lose weight much faster. Also I know I know it is the first week (officially).

Just think Bee! How much better will you feel when you lose 75, or 50, or even 25 pounds? And at 2 lbs a week, you would have hit all those marks in under a year. I have an overall goal of around 70-80 lbs, so I have a pretty decent amount to lose myself. I had to break it down. I can't think about the overall goal too much. It's so overwhelming. But when I think how great it will be to go down just one size for the first time in a long time or how much better I will feel physically when I lose just 20 or 30 lbs, when I can start to FEEL it, that inspires me. And yes, it takes time, but it will be SOOOOOO worth all the time and effort. And we are here for ya babe! I also just read an article in the latest issue of Shape magazine that was a success story of a woman who lost 150 lbs. If you're interested, it's the one with Kathryn McPhee from American Idol on the cover. Lots of other good stuff in there too! :)

OK, totals today...

B: oatmeal, carb/sugar control yogurt, & fruit juice smoothie (370)
L: garlic & herb chicken (leftovers), red pepper strips, & sugar free dulce de leche Jello pudding (MMMMMMM) (335)
S: red pepper strips w/fat free sour cream dip (35)
S: 2% string cheese (70)
D: DeLite cheese pizza from Papa Murphy's (700) (This was half of a pretty big pizza. It's a really thin crispy pizza that is VERY YUMMY! I could have eaten less of it and been full. I just wanted it and was within my calorie limits for the day. If anyone has a Papa Murphy's near them, CHECK IT OUT!!! I'm having it again tomorrow for lunch!)

TOTAL: 1510 calories :)

80 oz. of water so far!
