Is there any chance that they would let my hooligans participate? Both of them are able to walk to short distances, but their issues get a lot worse with heat and fatigue. Would they still be able to participate in their wheelchairs? I know about the signing up ahead of time, (brilliant idea, too) but I'll still have to bring the boys with me to sign them up and I'd hate to disappoint them needlessly.

A few months ago I asked some of the people backstage for JTA about children in wheelchairs and they said that was no problem. Espcially if they are in "real" wheelchairs or power chairs; using "Stroller as Wheelchair" is difficult as they would not really be able to maneuver.

Somewhere there is a thread where the parent of a child in a wheelchair posted about their child's experience. They had a great time, even made the "jedi robes" work!

I have also seen deaf/HOH children participate, and they regularly sign the shows in Disneyland, so I imagine they do the same in WDW.

There really is very little in WDW that people with disabilities can't do. It's why I love it so much.

One note: children DO need to be able to follow instructions independently (though I think I have seen a parent maneuvering their child's wheelchair). this is for safety reasons. They also need to be able to hold a "training lightsaber" which is made of plastic. I have no idea what your children's needs are, so I just wanted to mention it.
