Disabled 1 day pass - first time booking - Disney Tokyo

Hi, I'm going to Disney Tokyo in August and I'm eligible for a disabled pass. My partner and I are going together. Do I book 1 disabled ticket and he gets in for free or do I need to book 2 tickets? I don't really understand how the website worded it so, any help would be much appreciated as I don't know how many tickets or which ones I need. Thank you

You might want to post this on the Tokyo Disneyland forum, too. People there might have more experience with Tokyo, this part of the boards tends to be very WDW focused.

I just looked it up on the site, too, and I read it as you will both need to purchase tickets. This part under the FAQ section is clearer than the main description:
