I've got a book "The Procrastinator's Handbook" that I haven't gotten around to reading yet. I bought it after borrowing one from the library and getting a notice saying "The following book is overdue: The Procrastinator's Handbook."

That reminds me that I need to find a book I bought. I bought a book on how to improve your memory. I think I read the first 3 chapters - don't remember a thing I read either. Then I put it up and forgot where it was.

I know it has been asked many times before but what is the word on an extra board for exchanges and such? Thought I would bring it up once again since they number of exchanges seems to keep growing. (And the fact that I'm getting interested in them and want a better way to keep up with them.)

I was thinking the same thing...Exchange and Game Board? I like to check them both but sometimes threads get lost and did not know if they could all be put together.

i have been on the game and exchange bandwagon for awhile
we used to start threads and they would get shot down i figure the webmasters will change things when they think its time

I liked the suggestion of the music board...especially those interested in Disney music. I am also interested in a collector's forum that is seperate from the pin board. Y'all do good work. Thanks for what you do

How about a separate board for threads involving the Tag Fairy? Seems there's a growing interest in the TF and lots and lots of threads concerning her/him.

Maybe a special Tag Fairy Only Zone?

There is an exchange "sticky" at the top of the page that Heidi does a wonderful job of keeping current....so you can find all the threads easily there.
Lists the ones taking sign-ups and the sent/received threads.

My question concerns speed....are the boards going to speed up anytime soon?
I often walk away while a page is loading

My constant headache- board speed!
The problem is every time we find a way to speed it up we just seem to get busier. A few months ago we found a way to handle more traffic and within a week traffic had caught up! We are looking at some long range plans to change how we do things and make a really huge improvement but there is a ton of detailed planning involved

My headache too Dial up so you can imagine.

Have you tried turning off signatures etc? Makes a HUGE difference. The other thing you might want to try is using the "discreet" style. It's much faster than some of the others on dial up
