I know there's already a thread started about this, but who is running in any of the Disney Wine & Dine races?

13.1 miles is a bit far for me at this point. 10K and below is my limit as of right now.
Just the little 5 lbs ones. Nothing heavy, I don't want to lose my girlish figure.

One day Don will graduate from the pretty pink and purple coated weights to the metal ones....one day.
This guy.
There is a relay option too you know.![]()
Agree, I do that when running, but the earbud style won't stay in my ears. Of course I'm a train wreck when I run, all over the place. I don't use them when lifting however.

Sort of a silly question, but do you plan on going back to your room to sleep? The 5K starts at 7 AM and the half starts at night with the party afterwards. It sounds like a long day.I am doing the 5K and the half marathon.
Kim and Anna are also planning on the 5K and doing the Half as a relay team.

Wow, impressive Todd. Do you plan to run that distance during training? I always wondered if I should run the full 13 before the race or if 10 was enough.
That's kind of what I was thinking too. Not so much staying up, but combining it with 16.2 miles and it could easily be a problem. Not silly at all. I think that is the plan. While being up for nearly 24 hours isn't an issue, running 13.1 miles at the end of those hours would be. A nap is most certainly in order.

Great goal Todd. You've come a long way since the Muddy Buddy. I got 4 more miles in today. I'm doing more cardio lately. I'm still lifting pretty seriously as well. I'm currently 215lbs. I'd like to be closer to 205, although as long as I'm healthy and in good shape I'm not all that concerned with the number on the scale. I've always been a heavy guy.![]()
I'm 180lbs, but I'm a tad shorter. 190 or 195 is good. Just hit the tanning bed and throw some oil on your body.I'd take 215 if I were rippedI'd like to be 190 though...or 195, right now I'm 205
I heard on today's podcast that Kathy maybe running the Wine & Dine 5K. I just want to say that you can do it Kathy. I also plan on running that race. You will absolutely love running through the Magic Kingdom with so many people cheering you on.
Sweet! Hey, I notice in your signature you have the 500 Mini-Marathon logo. Are you running the race here in Indy?I won't be running the 5K but I plan on being out there in the AM to cheer on the runners.
