DIS Unplugged Silent Auction to Support Give Kids the World is Well Underway!

Bid on over 300 auction items to help benefit Give Kids the World in Orlando, Florida!

Give Kids the World Village is a wish-fulfilling, fanciful, carefree retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their very deserving families.

The 79-acre, nonprofit "storybook" resort is located near Central Florida's most beloved attractions. Children and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacation, complete with accommodations in the Village's whimsical villas, donated attraction tickets, meals and much more!

We have over 300 fantastic items and experiences to bid on and you can do so by downloading the 'handbid' app on your smartphone and following these instructions:

• Follow the steps to register
• Search for DIS 20th Anniversary Auction
• Click on DIS 20th Anniversary Auction
• Enable Notifications
• Swipe left to see items (groups across top)
• You will need to enter a credit card to bid: 1) Click the three-line icon in the top left corner 2) Side menu will appear 3) Touch Profile 4) Touch Credit Cards 5) Enter Card Info

If you happen to be at Walt Disney World this week, stop by and see us at the BoardWalk Convention Center to see the items we have too!

We are 'thisclose' to raising half-a-million dollars as our lifetime total, so we really need your help to meet this goal!!

Registered for Handbid or for the DIS event?

You would have to register for handbid and search for the DIS collection (you don't need to put in a credit card unless you want to bid) but you don't need to be registered for the DIS event to bid on the auction remotely (just would have to arrange with Theresa as far as shipping or picking up at a later date)

Guys - I forgot to mention, you can also go to handbid.com from your computer and browse there too! You don't need to be signed in at all to do that. I keep assuming everyone on the planet has a smartphone, but not everyone does.

That would be fun!! And, I've had those babies on my head in the auction room every day in hopes that you might stop by with yours on your head too!

On a rather coincidental note, my husband is tired of my Mickey sunglasses and wants me to get a "real" pair. He says we're going to Disney Springs tomorrow night to look at some. We'll just see about that - I've never owned a pair of fancy sunglasses and I'm not sure that I want to start that. I might like my Dooney's better!!
