DIS Unplugged Shirts for GKTW

To answer some recent questions...

Sorry, no children's sizes will be ordered. We have received what I think will be our last batch of shirts and when these are gone/our goal is reached we will not be ordering any more. Don't panic - Pete already has plans in the works for more fundraising in the future. We learned some lessons from this first one so I'm sure the next one will be more accessible to everyone.

We looked into having GKTW accept the money directly but then it would be a logistical nightmare of making sure they knew that the payment was for a DIS Unplugged Shirt (instead of a 'regular' donation), and then they would have to get that info to us...etc, etc. Kind of defeats the purpose of us doing all the admin work so they can just accept the money.

I see no issue with accepting Travelers Checks for these since we would just deposit them as regular checks into our bank.

If my calculations are correct if we sell all the shirts I ordered we should surpass our goal. There are some other variables in there - like people who have sent in more money than the shirts cost - and if I guessed at the right quantities of each size (last time a really understimated the number of large shirts we needed) - but we are well on our way to that $20,000 goal.

I am so excited by this whole thing. I was a little slow in getting my order in, but it is now in and the check should be to Florida soon.

I can not wait to wear mine while we are there in June.

I'm hoping it is just because they ran out of size large and that I will receive it shortly. I'm looking forward to wearing it on podcast cruise departure day.
