I can't recall when I have ever met the "clean, coordinated look" standard.

I read that and my immediate reaction was "do I even like France"?

As for wearing the best shoes in my closet....I'm assuming they mean the black Crocs?

I'm almost 1000% sure my clothes will irritate if not outright offend the French, as most of my clothing is either "tight or baggy".

I'm prepared for an international incident.

It seems like there is alot of "on your own" time in the London portion that could be removed to allow a day or two at DLP even within the current 7 day/6 night timeframe. Maybe the price of adding on DLP wouldn't be as painful then.

I already have a trip book to London, Paris and the Mediterranean in October 2011. If we happen to be in the same city at the same time maybe we could have a meet. I'll be in London 3 nights, Paris 4 nights and a 7 night Mediterranean cruise.

DLRP in October would be great as you get to see all the Halloween decorations.

From the sounds of the tour I think it would be better to have the Paris portion and then DLRP, skip the London bits (but then I've seen all that before anyway!)

Even if we can't afford it I'm sure we could plan a trip to DLRP for around the same time and wave at you guys while you do your tour

If you can plan the trip around my 40th birthday (10/21/11), I *might* be able to convince my husband that we need a child-free trip to Europe!
The last time we were in London, 9/11 happened. We were living in NYC at the time and we came home to a very different place. I think we need to go back to London to build happier memories!!! (And my brother now lives in London so we could say hello!)

I'm not so sure I agree with this, Bill. Never having traveled to Europe, the London part is every bit as intriguing to Phillip and I as the Paris/DLP portions. I'd had to see them "rob Peter to pay Paul" to make this happen.

Phillip and I decided last night that, if this happens, and if we can afford it (that's a BIG "if"), we would do it in celebration of the 25th anniversary of our 25th birthdays -- which will have happened for us in the June (Phillip) and August (me) previous to the trip.

You really have only 2.5 days in each city due to arrival/travel/departure times - so you don't want to cut short the time in either city.

I agree, while we have all been concentrating on the France portion of this trip, I am equally excite about going to England, and would hate to have parts of it cut back to make room for DLP
