I just got the same thing. I love these events, I always get so many useful things.

Can you figure out who to find out the date for your local one at office depot. When I go to the website and put in my zip code it just shows me a map to the store. Am I missing something?

If you are doing something wrong, I'm doing it too. I got the same page; don't know what is up with that. Office Max gave out great tote bags last year.

I'm glad it's not just me. I guess I'll just keep checking the site or call my local store and ask. I loved the tote bag from Office Max last year. Did you by any chance get the one from Staples? That one was great too. I used them both all year long and they held up so well.

ooh I'm excited!! I haven't checked out the Offic Depot but i looked at Walmart.com and I couldn't find theirs either. I'll call Wally world and see what they say!

And you better becareful posting about things for teachers....you know how some people can get...we don't want to be chastised for getting free things when we make soooo much money

I guess our Walmart must not appreciate the teachers in our town, because I have never seen this advertised in our walmart. My MIL works at Walmart and said she hasn't heard any news from her supervisors about this!

Our local Staples decided to have their teacher appreciation day the day before school starts (and on a Sunday no less)! In previous years they have had a nice party with food, extra discounts for teachers on that day only, etc. I usually wait to buy my supplies on this day because of the savings. Well, I hate to cut my preparation so close to the beginning of school, not to mention, I'll probably be at home finishing my lesson plans for the week!

So I guess this leaves me with Office Max. I cheerfully went in yesterday to inquire when the appreciation day would be, as I saw a sign that said "look forward to our Teacher appreciation day!" However, not one employee in the store, including the manager, could tell me when the date was

Oh well, I guess I could have worse problems than this... like 28 students with only 23 desks!

yeah I'd say that is a problem!!! Tell them at Office Max that you need desks and to charge it to your school account! See if any notices! hehehe
