Dis-shopping and D23 huge mistake!!!

I am on hold now....for 22 min with Disney shopping. I placed an order about 8 days ago on the phone with a cast member at Disney Shopping. I was having trouble ordering DD a pair of shoes, the size wouldnt show up. Anyway, placed the order and received the email conf....waited and called today because I didnt get the order yet. The castmember says I have a balance of $80 from DH's D23membership? HUH????? I dont think so. We have had the membership from the very start. She said we have been sent 2 collection notices...nope. We still get the magazine. Never received a letter, never had a stop in the magazine and the junk that comes with it (Sorry DH loves it..I think they send a lot of junk) She is so sweet but having trouble with this. I am perplexed also????? Besides being upset about not owing I am sad thinking that perhaps I wont get my order!!! Most of it was gifts from Santa...a cute Minnie outfit that DD wanted sooooo bad. When I called they were out of a few items I wanted.....ho hum...still on hold listening to Alice in Wonderland music..........

Ok I need to eat my words. When DH renewed his D23 magazine he gave our charge card. It was Feb 12.....My wallet was stolen a few days later. We cancelled everything. Seems Disney or D23 didnt try to process the order until March 20........ I paid the balance but did voice my concern that we never got a notice and they have on record we were mailed 2. I also don't understand how they take a month to process a magazine subscription renewal subscription. The cast member was so sweet. She was able to verify my credit card that was cancelled, well, the last 4 numbers. She said that my order will be filled because they have it pulled. I still dont understand how long they would have waited to contact me.....oh well. I was wrong they were right but, I wish they had contacted me by phone or email or mail although they said they did.

It really sucks when you don't get that sort of mail...I'm sorry that happened!

Is it possible you tossed the letter thinking it was junk?

Also, likely the only time you'd get a call about owing would be the one from a collections agency. Glad you got it sorted out though.

Its just very odd because I didnt see anything...nothing. She said they had mailed out 2 papers...I really didnt get any because I would have freaked out!!! I just find it so odd that they never called or they never stopped the magazine? Once I heard it was Feb I knew that it prob was right. It just stinks that even now....8 months later there is still a ripple effect from the stolen wallet...
