Hi, y'all! Between work, visiting family in SF (yes, I snuck in and out while you weren't looking), and work, I've been away from the boards for a while.

We had a great time visiting my brother in SF. We grabbed him and headed to Lake Tahoe for 3 days, then to Napa Valley for 2 days, then back to SF for the rest of the time. It was wonderful! I thought of my northern CA friends while there, but we were on the move so much, meeting up would have been impossible.

I hope everyone else is doing well. I've missed y'all!

Thanks for the heads up Usnuz. Chances are she is fine. The quake was on the island of Vanautu which is off the Noth eastern coast of Australia. Sort of off thw coast similar to where New York or DC are located in the US. I would think Sydney would be more in danger if a Tsunami develops than Melbourne would be.
