It's been a long weekend for us here. Friday was a public holiday....Grand Final weekend!
We had a couple of Dis-sers fly in and I spent the weekend hosting one of them.

I'm in the middle of cooking dinner and then I need to drop my car off at the repair shop so I won't have to mess with it in the morning on the way to work.

I need to get some guitar practise in! It's the start of 4th semester/term and we all go back to 'school' and activities today.

And we swapped into daylight savings time here. So, it'll take me a while to figure out overlap time with you all.

Had a long weekend in Reno for a basketball tourney. Glad that it is over even though we didn't do well but it was a fun time with the players and parents where we had fun last night. It was crazy last night as well since there was lightning and raining.

It's going to be 35 C here today. It's October!!!! YIKES! The bush fire season is going to be a long one this year. Looks like warnings of El Nino are panning out to be true. Hmmmm.

The weekend was great where I had fun with the players and parents last night at the Grand Sierra hotel in Reno. Last night was so crazy with the weather and finally the weather is cooling down. It was a long 2 hour drive back to Sac.

I sure hope you have a slow season for bush fires there. Its a good thing you weren't here this year for them. They were horrible, and the smokiest that I can ever remember.

The hotel is very nice and it was busy with a lot of people from the players, parents, and other people. I haven't been to that hotel in a long time. I am back home in Sac where I got home around 2:30pm today.

Spent the weekend in South Carolina. It was very wet. I left just before they shut down part of the freeway. My friends are still there and stuck. The bridge in front of one of my friends has been washed out.

Another friend in Sumter has posted on FB that they have had to walk away from their house as it was starting to take on water. She also reported alligators in downtown Sumter in the rising waters.

Another report is of caskets coming out of the ground, but that rumor is not confirmed.

It is scary out there.
