Hey everyone, just wanted to say how brilliant you are sophie for organising such a big get together ! I don't usually post in the UK bit so thought it'd be odd if i crashed your get together, but have a brilliant time everyone. I'm throwing some pixie dust over meadow hall - not that it'll need it with you lot there!

Sorry all but Nando's called yesterday and are now refusing to take the booking as they "don't have room". The manager apologised profusely and the girl who originally booked it in has been told off. Doesn't help us much though

Any ideas?

I have just been mooching around the food offerings at Meadowhall and only La Tasca seems to allow pre-bookings according to the key that comes up when you click on description for ech restaurant

We'd prefer a restaurant as a pub might not be very evie friendly!! However, if you go for a pub i can always come in on my own. Whatever is best for everyone.

I was thinking of the one in Meadowhall that, I think, is child friendly.
I can't remember it being very big though

The pub in Meadowhall is Evie friendly, don't worry. If push comes to shove we can just drag tables together in the food court I suppose. Pub might be a good idea, last time we were there it was empty and it seemed big enough to accomodate us. I get the feeling most of the restaurants will refuse the booking and not be able to seat a group this size.
