Dis Mom's Club?

I'm in!!! Ironically, I only found this by invading (inadvertently at first) a game on the Dis Dads thread!!

I'm Shandale, single mom of 2 boys! We live in TX and visit WDW yearly. Now I have to go back to the beginning of this thread and read it so I can "meet" everyone!

You actually made a very good point. We should all "invade" the DisDad's every so often, just to keep them honest...that is if we can handle the mindless dribble they talk about. My DH lives over there.

Hi Everyone! I am joining in!! I haven't had a chance to read all the other posts yet! Just wanted to say hi!

I am a single mom to the best little boy who will be 7 in July. We just got back from our trip in April. We stayed at GF, and it was a magical trip all the way around..it was the first time just DS and I went to WDW alone..had the best time!

Really looking forward to being a part of this thread!

I'm Wendy. I'm from PA and we are all Disney-a-holics! My husband is Phil and we went to WDW for our honeymoon!!! We joined DVC in 2008 and couldn't be happier about it! He's a restaurant general manager and I have 2 part time jobs. I am a Walt Disney World Travel Agent and I drive a school bus!

We have 4 kids!

Lauren -13 a mild mannered 7th grader who is still quite a "tween" and doesn't act like a typical teen yet, thank goodness.

Ashley - almost 11 a girly girl to the extreme!

Darren - 9 he whines a LOT, but we still love him!

Leah - 17 months Our little baby girl! We waited a long time to have her and she was well worth the wait!

I've been posting on the disboards for a long time and I'd love to get to know the other DIS MOMS out there!

I didn't search too hard but who are they quoting?? Surely they're not being mean, are they? I know a few of the DisDads and they always seem to keep it nice.

I'm married to one of the Disdads & so is E3yore. A friend from college is married to one. They aren't mean. Actually, they are pretty comical. If I laugh at a postmy husband will want to know why so I tell him part of a post & he already know it is posted bc it was quoted on disdad. So, I checked it out & usually can find it. Of course, he scolds me for looking on disdads & I roll my eyes.

Oh ok! I figured it couldn't be mean! Like I originally posted, I only figured out there was a Dismoms thread because I wasn't paying attention and started playing a game on the Disdads forum and eventually someone joked that me and the other ladies playing their game needed to go over to the Dismoms thread and leave the guys to fart and burp or something like that!

I think they ran out of material so they needed to steal ours. My DH says he has not been on the DisDad's all day...right honey I believe you. It is nice to know that someone else rolls their eyes at their DH.

I just saw this thread! Finally something I qualify for -- I'm a mom! I'm the mom of a new teen ds13, so while I have memories, nothing new to contribute to threads on strollers, BBB, toddlers, or breastfeeding in the parks!

me too! been on here since 2003, and oh my, how things have changed on here.
my kids are now 10 and 20, so no more strollers here
