We are in the Tree houses. This will be our first time in the Tree Houses and probably the last. There are only four of us and it really does not pay for us to stay there but we are going with some friends of ours and decided to splurge this trip.

Hi my name is Vanessa and I am a Disneyaholic and not afraid to say so.

I don't know why I haven't came across this thread before, I knew the one for Dad's was there. I haven't had time to read through the whole thread but thought I would jump into the thread.

Like I said my name is Vanessa, 38, live in NC but a FL native. I have been to Disney 12 times in my life time the first time was in 1978. We are DVC members since 2004 at SSR. We always go to Disney in Sept. We stay most of the time at BWV. We leave on Sept 17 to stay at BCV. I am a SAHM.

My DH is Daniel, 33, and is more of a Disney nut than I am and has been more than I have. His favorite ride is TOT.

I have two sons DS9, who is out going, smart, funny, and loves learning about things. DS who will be 3 in Nov. is my Devil spawn. He has a mind of his own and is all boy. Timeouts and taking things from him does not work. But I love him and wouldn't trade him for the world, he has his sweet moments.

People think we are crazy for going to Disney all the time, we never go anywhere else for vacation as my DH won't go anywhere else. Our home Decor is alot of Disney and people we know just don't understand it, but each it their own. My Inlaws have started going alot so I think they are bitten by the mouse bug. I got my StepDad to go with us on an adults only trip in Jan. after my Mom passed away in Oct 2009, it was good to see a smile on his face again. He has decided to join us on this upcoming trip also and the Kids are so excited, just wish my Mom could have gone with the kids once.

I can't wait to get to know so other Dis Moms. Is there going to be a members list on the first page like the Dis Dad's thread?

My husband has way too much time on his hands. He is a Disboard/ DisDad junkie! He loves to plan our WDW trips- I like that. I can deal w/ just about all of it except for one! He has now down loaded not only to his cell phone ring but to the computer log ins the voice from the monorail that says Step Away From The Door to only be followed by the spanish version. If it was quieter I could probably handle it but no he has to have it so loud that it blows my somewhat long curly hair straight up like Don King ! Of course, he thinks it's funny. God help me!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week.

My family has had a very long emotional roller coaster week. My MIL passed away last Thursday from a long illness and we were all able to say our goodbyes within hours of her death but it is still a sad time. We had the funeral on Wednesday and my kids have the ability to ask questions that I have no answer for when it comes to this topic.

Then her Grandson was married on Saturday and my DD was the flower girl. She was so cute and had a great time on the dance floor. It was hard to get her up on Sunday to check out of the hotel.

Your daughter looks so happy! It sure sounds like you've been on a roller coaster lately.

My DD was flower girl for a wedding earlier this year and she still talks about it all the time.

I'm use to not having to wear a jacket until mid to late October. It was cold at soccer, today. I'm in need of WDW weather.
