We live in Owensboro but I'm from Hancock County.

We will be there in October. Maybe we need a support group in the area'

We are DVC so we are there once or twice a year. This year we spent spring break at DVC HHI so we have a trip to WDW planned. We are WDW nuts but don't know anyone locally who shares the fever!

I know all of you will be jealous but our girls & I plan to be at Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN! Yep, the ones of you at WDW eat your hearts out! All jokes aside I really like Holiday World; very nice & hands on owners, very clean park, water park ROCKS, and very cheap. Big plus Santa Claus tells a story and meet/ greet about 4 or 5x a day. He looks like the real deal!

I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts...but HI! I am mom to 6month old DS...married to a man that WDW made a true believer in all things magic in 2004...(thank you CMs!!!)We were married at WDW...and now planning DS's first trip for the age of 2...

He looks like the real deal!

I have to second this! They seem to get a new attraction in the water park every year. We always joke that they're bound to run out of room soon. Their rollercoasters have been voted some of the best in the entire nation - not too shabby for little Holiday World! Very family friendly. And I've even seen the owner outside sweeping up food from beneath a table - and she served us our lunch once too. We love it!

Also, howdy! I'm mama to an almost 6 month old daughter. I've always been a World fanatic, but I dragged my husband into on our honeymoon in 2009. We were planning on heading down to Disney World in September, but those plans were scrapped when we thought about how we just went last year and we'll be so close, yet so far to the new Fantasyland opening. We're currently considering fall 2012 now.

We are moving next week so things are crazy. The girls BOTH start school on August 20th and I will be free to wander the parks every day all by myself if I want.

How do you be a SAHM when both kids are in school? It kinda sounds like a vacation to me! LOL!

Our heat here in Maine finally broke last night. Now it is in the 70's and will get down to 50 tonight... brrrrr!
