DIS Meets?

I know what a DIS meet is...but I'm not sure what you are supposed to do during one. I would really like to meet some of you guys, but I'm a little nervous. Do you have lunch together, or just sit and talk...? Can anyone give me some info, so I can have a great DIS meet?

I've been to a number of meets now. From a big meet in MK with about 20 or so Disers to meeting several people for lunch that I know from a thread on which I post. I've been to an area meet (that wasn't real successful) as well.

I think the meets that have worked have been times I'm meeting people I "know" from the boards.

I got together with a bunch of fellow DISers in Epcot this past June. We met in Norway and pretty much just talked. We were going to ride Maelstrom together but it closed early. We did get a picture ...

Has anybody ever organized a DIS meet before, or taken over command of one?
