Hey everybody!
For those of you who can come to the DL Resort today, we are having a DIS Meet at 1:00pm at Tangaroa Terrace (Disneyland Hotel casual dining restaurant).
We are meeting after the Tinkerbell Marathon, where some of our DISers are running, including Disneyland Correspondent on the DL Podcast team, Tony Spittell. For those of you who don't know, Tony is running in the race dressed as Tinkerbell to raise money for Give Kids the World. Our original goal was $2,000, which has been reached! Now we want to see if we can make it to $2,500 for this worthwhile cause.
Anyone who comes to the meet and donates to Give Kids the World (http://www.gktw.org/) will get a raffle ticket for various prizes. Pete (owner of the DIS) is also here at the Disneyland Resort, and he told us last night that he will give as a raffle prize a trip to Walt Disney World!
So come on down, let's get together, and on top of that, donate to Give Kids the World and get a chance to win a trip to Walt Disney World (airfare not included, however, dining is!).
