Dis meet planning advise, please

Anyone who has put together one of these GKTW events could you please provide some advise about how to set one up? There is a small group in Arizona that is trying to plan, but we don't know where to start. Any assistance would be appreciated.

There are no rules to a Dis Meet. Just pick a place or activity. Have games, if you want, have food, if you want. Think about how you want to raise money for GKTW, if that is what you want to do. Look for area hotels, if needed, and see about group rates.

Basically you are planning a party.
